    摘要： A multi-tube fluorescent discharge lamp, which is constructed of multiple glass tubes of different caliber in coaxial structure, the both sides of the inner most tube are connected to a cathode respectively, by isolating, perforating and blocking the discharge path, forming a successive discharge path, and coating phosphor on surface of the discharge tubes. The Invention can then have more fluorescent area than a conventional fluorescent lamp of the similar size and higher lumen as well as power transfer factor. Compared with the power consumption of a conventional fluorescent discharge lamp, the Invention therefore has higher luminous flux.

    摘要： There is provided a cold cathode fluorescent lamp including a transparent tube including first and second light-emitting areas defined by partitioning an inner space of the transparent tube, a first terminal electrode positioned in the first light-emitting area and at a longitudinal end of the first light-emitting area located closer to an end of the tube, a second terminal electrode positioned in the second light-emitting area and at a longitudinal end of the second light-emitting area located closer to the other end of the tube, a first intermediate electrode positioned in the first light-emitting area and at the other longitudinal end of the first light-emitting area, a second intermediate electrode positioned in the second light-emitting area and at the other longitudinal end of the second light-emitting area, a first lead-in wire connected to the first terminal electrode through the longitudinal end of the first light-emitting area, a second lead-in wire connected to the second terminal electrode through the longitudinal end of the second light-emitting area, a third lead-in wire connected to the first intermediate electrode through the other longitudinal end of the first light-emitting area, and a fourth lead-in wire connected to the second intermediate electrode through the other longitudinal end of the second light-emitting area. The above-mentioned cold cathode fluorescent lamp makes it possible to lower a break-down voltage and a discharge voltage down to about halves of them in a conventional fluorescent lamp, and hence, discharged electrons are not attracted to a metal part. Thus, it is possible to prevent a cold cathode fluorescent lamp from not turning on due to electron discharge.

    摘要： A fluorescent discharge lamp has two glow mode electrodes wound around it in a helical fashion. One circuit drives the main electrodes at opposite ends of the lamp at high levels of brightness. Another circuit drives the glow mode electrodes at low levels of brightness, at about 10MHz. At intermediate levels of brightness, both the main electrodes and the glow mode electrodes are driven, the two sets of electrodes being driven for alternate on and off periods with the glow mode electrodes being on when the main electrodes are off and the glow mode electrodes being off when the main electrodes are on.

    摘要： A diamond stylus for electromechanically recording short wavelength video signal information in a metal disc master is supported in a cutterhead suspension apparatus. A set of parallel spring steel suspension members are used to mount a cutting stylus assembly including the diamond stylus to an electromechanical recording lathe. A cutterhead suspension velocity control apparatus couples the cutterhead suspension apparatus to the main frame of the electromechanical recording lathe. When the cutterhead suspension is lowered onto the disc master surface the velocity control apparatus controls the rate at which the cutterhead suspension descends to the disc master surface.
