    摘要: A filter circuit includes a first resonator and a second resonator each having a different resonance frequency. The first resonator is included in a first block, and the second resonator is included in a second block. The first block further includes a first delay unit connected to the first resonator. An input terminal divides an input signal to the first block and the second block. An output terminal combines signals passing through the first block and the second block and outputs the combined signal. The first delay unit converts a phase difference between the signals passing through the first block and the second block to reverse-phase or nearly reverse-phase.

    摘要: An approximately rectangular plate-shaped radiation member (2) is provided and support portions (4,6) are attached to lower surface end portions adjacent to a pair of parallel shorter sides of the radiation member (2). The support portion (4) is composed of a laminated circuit member including a laminated demultiplexer and a laminated band pass filter of the reception side and the transmission side respectively connected to the laminated demultiplexer. The radiation member (2) has a power supply terminal (2c) and a ground terminal (2d) at the end portion where the support portion (4) is mounted. The power supply terminal (2c) and the ground terminal (2d) are connected to an antenna terminal (4a) and the ground terminal (4b) of the laminated circuit, respectively. The radiation member (2) has a radiation electrode (2a) where a slot (2b) is formed. The shape of the slot is set so that the radiation electrode (2a) causes resonance in a plurality of frequency bands.

    摘要: A laminated dielectric filter is formed by coupling a plurality of resonators to one another by electromagnetic-field coupling. In the laminated dielectric filter, a bypass circuit formed of a series circuit including bypass capacitors and transmission lines is provided in parallel to a magnetic-field bypass coupling between non-adjacent resonators. Thus, capacitance of the bypass capacitors can be regulated without being affected by the magnetic-field bypass coupling between the non-adjacent resonators. As a result, attenuation poles outside a passband can be controlled freely.

    摘要: A resonator, a filter, an oscillator, a duplexer, and a communication apparatus employing these devices have improved efficiency characteristics in confining an electromagnetic field in an opening of an electrode, suppressed current concentration, and minimized conductor loss. Electrode patterns are formed near short-circuited positions in a slot so that the slot will be divided into smaller-width slot lines. Consequently, the efficiency in confining the electromagnetic field is improved, and conductor loss is minimized.

    摘要: A laminate dielectric filter that has an asymmetrical band pass response is formed with a dielectric laminate structure that includes a first dielectric layer, a second dielectric layer and a third dielectric layer. A first resonator element and a second resonator element are interposed between the first and second dielectric layers and are arranged in a spaced apart relationship from one another. The first and second resonator elements each have a first end electrically connected to a circuit ground potential and a second end which is open circuited. Coupling structures are coupled to the first and second resonator elements to provide input/output ports for the filter. A third resonator element which has a first end electrically connected to a circuit ground potential and a second end which is open circuited is interposed between the second and third dielectric layers and is positioned to be disposed between the first and second resonators such that the first, second and third resonator elements are magnetically coupled to each other. A coupling element is provided that has a width and a position, spaced from said first ends of said first and second resonator elements, to form a coupled triplet having an asymmetrical filter response with all zeros of the response on only one side of the filter pass band.

    摘要: A high performance diplexer is disclosed having a common conductor which branches into two resonators in distributive form. The diplexer may be used reciprocally, has low insertion loss, is tuneable, has high signal isolation and impedance matching, and may be readily produced to meet the space requirements relating to size, temperature, radiation and performance. A method of tuning the resonators of the diplexer is also disclosed. Specific applications for the diplexer are also disclosed and include use in a GPS transmitter, GPS receiver and as part of an electronic scan array (ESA) antenna. The diplexer's small size and weight, and its resistance to the conditions of space make it ideal for use in satellite applications.
