摘要: A modular gas box system comprises a series of modules that each connect into upper and lower manifolds that distribute reactive and purge gases through weldments and monoblock valves. A motherboard distributes power, control signals, and pneumatics air to all the plug-in modules. Environmental modules provide vent and purge lines to the process' reaction chambers. An embedded microcomputer manages in situ system and safety diagnostics for each and every module that has been assigned a motherboard address. Each gas module 24 is easy to remove and replace and the pneumatics control motherboard integrates pneumatics distribution, analog-to-digital converters, device controllers and support electronics. Gas module 24s include digital mass flow controllers, analog and digital pressure switches and transducers, gas filters and pneumatic valves.

摘要: A pressure control valve having a housing with a main inlet passage and a bypass outlet passage. A combined control is located in the housing to control the flow of fluid from the main inlet passage to the bypass outlet passage. The combined control includes a chamber in the housing having an inlet connected to the main inlet passage, an outlet connected to the bypass outlet opening and a loading opening. A poppet is located in the chamber and is movable between a first position closing the inlet and a second position opening the inlet to allow fluid to flow from the main inlet passage to the bypass outlet passage. A spool is positioned within the poppet and is movable between an open position allowing fluid to flow between the main inlet passage and the bypass outlet passage. A spring biases the spool toward the closed position. A connecting passage is located in the housing to connect the main inlet passage to the loading opening.

摘要: A gas valve includes two solenoid valves connected fluidically in series. A housing assembly contains a circuit board on which electrical components and a plurality of plug terminals and pin terminals are mounted. The plug terminals are adapted to be connected to the solenoid valves and the pin terminals are adapted to be connected to external circuitry. The housing assembly is adapted to be attached to the valve body either in a first position wherein the pin terminals extend in a first direction or in a second position wherein the pin terminals extend in a second direction. The housing assembly and the solenoid valves are adapted for enabling connection of the solenoid valves to the circuit board when the housing assembly is in either the first or second position. The solenoid valves are operated by direct current and are so mechanically constructed as to operate in a relatively quiet manner.

摘要: A fluid outlet system is provided for selectively providing a plurality of fluids (e.g., oxygen medical air and vacuum) at different locations. The fluids are provided by a multifluid distribution system, and the fluids are selected by positioning an active fascia assembly at a desired location along the length of the distribution system. Access to other sections of the distribution system is inhibited by blank fascia assemblies. The active and blank fascia assemblies can be repositioned as desired to change the types of fluids supplied to medical apparatuses and the like, and to change the locations at which such fluids are accessed.

摘要: A fluid module for a fluid control apparatus which has an internal fluid operated diaphragm which will permit the manifolding of several modules together. Each of the modules is of the same configuration and is interconnected to a common main fluid supply source. The modular units are plugged together using couplings with the main fluid source piped only to one device with an internal fluid passage delivering the fluid to all of the modular units. The modular units can be connected in a series or parallel combination with respect to signalling fluids. The modular units eliminate the cost of interconnecting different units at a variety of locations with different couplings as well as independently supplying each unit with a supply fluid.

摘要: This invention relates to a fluid distribution manifold, where the input piping is inserted in through the manifold's circular intake opening and into its cylindrical intake port. The manifold's intake port has an intake restraint rim on its inner surface in order to prevent the intake piping from being inserted too far into the manifold. In some embodiments, the manifold also has a glue trap located below the intake restraint rim, and of approximately the same dimensions and geometry as the intake restraint rim. The manifold's intake port leads to a cup- or parabola-shaped intake reservoir, where fluid is briefly housed prior to its distribution through several distribution output opening, and their respective distribution outlet ports. In some embodiments, the manifold's distribution outlet ports each possess an output restraint rim on the inner surface of each of the distribution outlet ports, to prevent the output piping from being inserted too far into the port. In a preferred embodiment, the manifold is constructed of polyvinyl chloride or acylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, and is used to distribute fluids, such as water and ozone, in spas and hydrotherapy baths.

摘要: A valve operation system particularly well suited for remote and/or automatic operation of many different irrigation valves. A linear actuator is provided with a rod which extends from and retracts into a housing. A connecting arm assembly interconnects the valve stem and the rod such that the extension and retraction of the rod is transferred into the rotational motion of the valve stem and the operation of the valve. The system components are held in place by a mounting plate which may be secured to a number of different valves. A manual operation assembly is included to allow a user to manually open or close the valve if necesasary. A valve stem adaptor is also provided to allow embodiments of the present invention to be adapted to the different valve stems found on various valves. Thus, one embodiment of the present invention may be adapted to be used with several different valves while providing reliable operation.

摘要: The invention provides an improved manifold assembly and hydraulic system for use in connecting hydraulic lines according to a predetermined circuit design. The invention is especially useful in a pilot control circuit for operating heavy equipment that is multifunctional or has the ability to operate multiple attachments. The manifold assembly comprises a baseplate having a plurality of inlet and outlet ports that are connected to various components in the hydraulic circuit. Connecting elements are then used to connect the designated inlet and outlet ports. In a preferred embodiment, the connecting elements include one or more channel plates attached to the baseplate that have segregated flow channels or passageways and interconnect the designated inlet and outlet ports. In order to convert the system from operation of one type of attachment to another, it is only necessary to exchange one set of designated channel plates for another. This provides ease and simplicity in the conversion from the use of one attachement to another.
