    Abstract: The invention is related to a method for bonding components of a PEM fuel cell with a frame and/or amongst one another, wherefore an adhesive curable by electromagnetic radiation in the range of visible light or UV is applied to the frame and/or the at least one component. The invention is characterized in that the adhesive is activated by the electromagnetic radiation and heated after the frame and/or components are brought into contact; or the frame and/or the components are brought into contact and the adhesive is exposed to electromagnetic radiation for activating and heating; to reduce its viscosity before the adhesive is finally cured. The adhesive is a cationic epoxy which contains water.

    Abstract: Provided is a laminate that is excellent in flexibility and has a high bending strength. Also provided is a reinforcing sheet including such laminate. The laminate of the present invention is a laminate including an adhesive layer and a constraining layer, wherein the constraining layer includes an impregnated layer obtained by impregnating a multilayer base material, which is obtained by laminating a plurality of reinforcing fiber sheet-shaped products in each of which reinforcing fiber yarns are arranged in parallel and knitting the products with a stitching thread to integrate the products, with a thermosetting resin composition. The reinforcing sheet of the present invention includes the laminate of the present invention.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an adhesion-promoting composition for a textile material, comprising a salt of lignosulphonate, an epoxy hardener for said salt, comprising at least two epoxide units, and an elastomer latex. The lignosulphonate salt can be a lignosulphonate of sodium, potassium, magnesium, ammonium or calcium. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition for providing a reinforcing textile material with adhesive properties, in relation to a rubber material, to a reinforcing textile material, particularly a textile structure, thread or cord, at least partially coated and/or impregnated with said composition, and to a part consisting of rubber or comprising a rubber material, in which the rubber comprises at least one reinforcing textile material, on the surface thereof and/or integrated into the rubber material.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an epoxide-functional adduct (E2) and an amine-functional adduct (A3) and coating compositions including these adducts. The epoxide-functional adduct (E2) comprises a reaction product of a reaction mixture comprising (a) an epoxy-containing compound (E1) and (b) a diamine comprising a cyclic ring and/or a polyamine comprising a cyclic ring (A1). The amine-functional adduct comprises a reaction product of a reaction mixture comprising the epoxy-functional adduct (E2) and a monoamine, diamine, and/or polyamine (A2), wherein the monoamine, diamine, and/or polyamine (A2) are different than the diamine comprising a cyclic ring and/or the polyamine comprising a cyclic ring (A1).
