    摘要: A door locking handle assembly of a pull-out and side-swinging lever-action type, in which the entire length of a casing 1 is minimized while keeping a sufficient effective length of a handle 18 to improve the assembly in operability. A catch plate 36 is fixed to a locking shaft 11 mounted in a cylindrical portion 2 of the casing 1. The handle 18 received in a front concave 3 of the casing 1 is pivoted to the shaft 11 through a cross pivot 37, and swingably urged by a spring 38 to project outwardly. A button casing 24 is fixed to the concave 3. A push button 30 is slidably mounted in a recess 27 of the casing in an insertion manner while horizontally non-slidable therein and urged by a spring 40 to move upward, and has its upper projection 32 engaged with a front hook 20 of the handle 18. A rotor 42 of a lock unit 41 fixedly embedded in the handle 18 is engaged with a lock plate 45 engaging with a projection 26 of the button casing 24 to lock the handle 18 in its retracted position in the casing.

After completion of the insertion, the retainer projection is accommodated in a front end circumferential escape groove formed as part of the insertion groove.The shaft portion of the handle is not detached from the sleeve portion of the stationary member when a rotational angle regulation member or a locking member is removed.     摘要: A theft prevention device for use in the mounting of automotive audio equipment, such as a two-way radio to a secure structure, such as a "U" bracket or trunnion. The invention is a generally conical-shaped mounting knob that threadably attaches the audio equipment to the mounting bracket. Attached to one end of the knob enclosure is a key lock and attached to the opposite end is a threaded stud that is able to rotate about the longitudinal axis of the enclosure. In operation, the knob, in its unlocked position, is rotated clockwise until the threaded stud is securely attached to its threaded counterpart on the radio. In this position, the lock assembly rotates a cam plate so that an engaging disc engages both the knob enclosure and a stud plate allowing torque applied to the enclosure to be transferred to the threaded stud. The knob is then locked. In this position, the lock assembly rotates the cam plate so that the engaging disc does not engage the stud plate, and a compression spring forcibly separates the engaging disc and stud plate. Torque is not transferred from the enclosure to the stud plate. The knob will rotate freely in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction, but the stud will not loosen or tighten, thus preventing removal of the radio from the vehicle.

    摘要: A latch/ejector mechanism (2), designed for use with components (6) such as power supplies, computer modules and circuit boards, is used to secure a component to and release the component from a housing (104) by engaging and disengaging a catch element (96) on the housing. The mechanism includes a handle (8) pivotally mounted to the component for moving between latched and unlatched positions. The handle has a latch (94) at one end (28) which engages with and disengages from the catch element during such pivotal movement of the handle. The mechanism also includes a trigger (10) which must be actuated to permit the handle to be moved from the latched position to the unlatched position. A security lock (12), movable between locked and unlocked positions, is used to prevent the actuation of the trigger. In the locked position the lock surface (86) of the security lock opposes a portion of the trigger, called a prevent element (90). However, moving the lock to the unlocked position causes the lock surface of the security lock to be misaligned with the prevent element to permit unimpeded movement of the trigger element thus permitting actuation of the trigger element to release the handle.

    摘要: A key-activated removeable cylinder lock is disclosed. The lock has a lock barrel including a plurality of combinating tumblers disposed therein for movement between a first resting position and a second activated position. The barrel further includes a control tumbler having a first end and a second opposite end. The control tumbler is slidably disposed between a first resting position and a second activated position. In the resting position, the first end is extended relative to the barrel. In the activated position, the first end is retracted relative to the barrel. A housing rotatably removably receives the barrel therein. The housing further has an internal longitudinal slot formed therein extending from a forward end thereof. An annular clearance space is located rearwardly of the slot and is in communicaiton therewith for accommodating extension of the first end of the control tumbler in the resting position, whereby rotational movement of the barrel in the housing is permitted. The width of the first end is greater than the width of the slot and the second end, such that when the control tumbler is in the resting position, removal of the barrel from the housing is prevented. Insertion of a first normal key moves the combinating tumblers into their respective activated positions, whereby the barrel may rotate for the locking and unlocking thereof. Insertion of a second removal key moves the control tumbler into the resting position thereof for the removal of the barrel therefrom.

A radial retainer pin in the cylinder assembly extends outward into the lockset shank to hold the cylinder in place. When key is turned counterclockwise, the retainer pin may be depressed inward into a radial recess in the cylinder plug so that cylinder and knob front can be removed from the lockset. A recess in the plug has a spring-biased cover and forces the retainer pin back outward when the pin is released.
