    摘要: A location tracking system for allowing a user to monitor the location of an abuser who has been issued a restraining order. The tracking system includes a monitoring unit to be carried by the user that is in wireless communication with a monitored unit to be worn by the abuser. The monitoring unit includes a housing having a display screen thereon, wherein the display screen shows the location of the monitoring unit and the location of the monitored unit. The monitoring unit is configured to determine the distance of separation between the monitoring unit and monitored unit. The monitoring unit includes an alarm unit that will produce an audible alert if the distance of separation drops below a predetermined minimum distance.

    摘要: Location-Based Addressing (LBA) is a method of controlling and commissioning networked lighting devices. The lighting devices communicate over a wireless network using radio frequency communication protocols. The lighting devices are commissioned or grouped based on their 5 respective locations in a building floor plan or a building architecture. The lighting devices are commissioned to respond to radio frequency communications that correspond to their respective locations. This imposed location-based architecture reduces the amount of transmitted data required to control the lighting devices and, thus, reduces the radio bandwidth required to control the lighting devices. In other words, controlling devices “multicast” instructions and controlled devices “listen” for instructions and act only upon instructions that correspond to their respective location. Hand shaking or two-way communication between the controlling devices and the controlled devices is not required.

The personal safety and security light includes a casing, a plurality of lights, a microcontroller, a sound emitting device, a power supply and a trigger. The plurality of lights is externally mounted on the casing to illuminate the surround area from the casing. The sound emitting device audibly alerts nearby people for help or intervention. The microcontroller conducts power from the power supply to the plurality of lights and the sound emitting device when the trigger completes the circuit. The microcontroller controls the duration, intensity and sequence pattern for the plurality of lights and the sound emitting device. The trigger toggles the circuit open or closed to actuate the microcontroller that begins the sequence for the plurality of lights and the sound emitting device.
