摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of a network operator controller for managing a plurality of Internet of Things (IoT)-devices associated with an IoT device owner and connected to a wireless network. The method comprises receiving a list of IoT devices that are scheduled for a firmware update, wherein the list is indicative of respective update data and update procedure for each IoT device of the list; determining at least one network node serving a geographical area covering a respective location of each of the IoT devices of the list of devices; causing caching of the respective update data; determining an updating schedule indicative of when each IoT device is to receive its respective update data; and instructing the at least one network node to update the IoT devices with the cached respective update data according to the updating schedule and update procedure.

摘要: Implementations of the present application propose a method and apparatus for preventing rollback of firmware of a data processing device, and a data processing device. The method includes: enabling a boot loader (BootLoader) to read a current value of a predetermined bit in a one-time programmable memory (eFuse); determining whether the current value and a legal value written into the one-time programmable memory after the latest updating of the firmware of the data processing device satisfy a preset relationship; in response to determining that the current value and the legal value satisfy the preset relationship, enabling the boot loader to call an operating system kernel of the data processing device, and in response to determining that the current value and the legal value do not satisfy the preset relationship, enabling the boot loader not to call the operating system kernel of the data processing device. According to the implementations of the present application, rollback of the firmware can be prevented based on a variety of ways in a link-by-link mode.

摘要: Techniques are described for in-service configuration data migration for distributed micro service-based applications. In one example, a network device comprises a plurality of legacy data repositories comprising configuration data in key-value pair format that specifies a plurality of parameters and corresponding values for operation of the network device, and a hierarchical configuration data model having a plurality of nodes arranged in a hierarchical organization having a root node and a plurality of leaf nodes. Each of the nodes of the configuration data model is configured to store a set of configuration data parameters for the network device. One or more of the nodes includes a plurality of external references to respective parameters of the plurality of parameters stored within the plurality of legacy data repositories. Process circuitry is configured to perform a migration of the configuration data from the legacy data repositories to the hierarchical data model.

A set of existing configurations may be obtained of an existing software application executing on a set of computing systems operating in the computing infrastructure. The set of existing configurations may be evaluated using artificial intelligence to identify the standard configuration. The standard configuration may include a set of configuration options that appear most often in the set of existing configurations. A score may be generated for each existing configuration of the set of existing configurations based on deviation between the existing configuration and the standard configuration. A notification may be transmitted to an administrator based on the score. The notification may include an indication of options of the standard configuration that differ from options of the existing configuration.

摘要: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for upgrading user space networking stacks without disruptions to network traffic. A first packet engine can read connection information of existing connections of a second packet engine written to a shared memory region by the second packet engine. The first packet engine can establish one or more virtual connections according to the connection information of existing connections of the second packet engine. Each of the first packet engine and the second packet engine can receive mirrored traffic data. The first packet engine can receive a first packet and determine that the first packet is associated with a virtual connection corresponding to an existing connection of the second packet engine. The first packet engine can drop the first packet responsive to the determination that the first packet is associated with the virtual connection.

摘要: An example device includes a processor; a first interface port forming a first datalink to a core network device via a first interconnect device; and a second interface port forming a second datalink to the core network device via a second interconnect device, the first and second datalinks being redundant connections of a link aggregation group (LAG) including a plurality of multiplexed connections within a single network media. The processor is to: remove the first interconnect device while maintaining the second datalink; update firmware of the first interconnect device upon receiving a first indication that the first interconnect device has stopped receiving or transmitting data; and reestablish the redundant connections of the first interconnect device upon receiving a second indication that the first interconnect device has been added back to the LAG. The first and second indications include indications of states in each connection of the multiplexed connections.

摘要: Technologies for controlling operation of a compute node coupled to a computer network via a computing device that includes communications for communicating with the computer network and persistent instructions such as firmware for providing control functions to the computing device, wherein the control functions being defined at least in part by protocol data. An update control module of the computing device may receive update data from a remote node in the computer network via the communications, wherein the update data comprising new protocol data for the persistent instructions. A protocol parser module may parse the update data and generate metadata relating to the update data. A classifier module may receive rules for the control functions, wherein the rules are based at least in part on the update data and metadata. A compiler may compile the parsed update data to the persistent instructions for providing new control functions to the computing device based at least in part on the received rules.
