The dimension display device includes a bar graph display part which is composed of a large number of display elements, and a plurality of scale display parts disposed in parallel to the bar graph display part for displaying in a numeric value a scale with respect to the bar graph display part. The plurality of scale display parts are able to shift the numeric value of the scale for display according to different types of members to be measured. That is, if the center value of the tolerance of the member to be measured is set, then the scale display parts shift the numeric value of the scale such that the center value of the tolerance is moved to the center of the bar graph display part, so that the bar graph display part can be used effectively.

    摘要: A sliding gauge for measuring animal carcasses for slaughter, tree trunks, whole cheese or other objects. The sliding gauge includes a rod and a slide mounted for sliding movement on the rod by a form-locking guide arrangement. The rod and the slide are each equipped with a jaw projecting therefrom at a right angle, such that the jaws are parallel. Longitudinal markings and at least one length sensor are included with the rod and slide. A force sensor on one of the jaws may operate to disable further operation of the length sensor such that repeatable measurements may be made of soft or elastic articles. The length sensor is connected to electronic circuit components, which may include a microcomputer, for evaluation and processing of the signals supplied by the length sensor. Replaceable motherboards or memories allow the use of different processing programs for different applications, and the replacement of full memory devices such that the sliding gauge may continue to be used while the previous data is evaluated by a separate computer.

The embodiment of measure is initially aligned and mounted on the first of two objects. The scanning device is mounted on an auxiliary device and is exactly calibrated relative to the graduation of the embodiment of measure. The scanning device is displaced guided on the embodiment of measure by means of the auxiliary device until a stop surface of the second object is reached. The scanning device is fastened with the intermediate arrangement of an attachment device on the stop surface of the second object in such a way that the calibration of the scanning device relative to the graduation is maintained. The auxiliary device is then loosened and removed from the scanning device.

    摘要: A position measuring device for measuring the relative positions of two objects, wherein the two objects are machine components of a processing or working machine or a measuring machine for tools. The graduation of a scale connected to the first object is scanned by a scanning unit connected to the second object. The scale is arranged on a scale carrier so as to be slightly displaceable in a measuring direction. The scale carrier is connected with both ends thereof to fastening elements which, in turn, are rigidly connected to the first object. When the scale, the scale carrier and the workpiece have different thermal expansion, the scale carrier is connected at least at one end thereof to the fastening element with a translatory degree of freedom in measuring direction. The scale is biased at least at one end thereof by a spring element. The spring element is connected to the translatory movable end of the scale carrier. The spring constant of the spring element is selected so that when temperature changes occur the relative change in length of the scale is equal to the relative change in length of the workpiece.
