摘要: A routing method for a cluster-based wireless sensor network is provided for improving lifespan of the network and reducing network traffic. A routing method is proposed for a wireless sensor network having a sensor field defined by a plurality of clusters each including a plurality of sensor nodes and a header node, one of the cluster is a head cluster including a sink node. The routing method includes announcing, at least one sensor node which is the sensor node detected an event, the event; requesting, at the sink node, the source node to transmit data required for ubiquitous services; and transmitting, at the at least one source node, data to the sink node. Announcing the event includes relaying, at the at least one source node, a data announcement packet from a source cluster to which the source node belongs to a destination cluster which is arranged along an ith second direction axis through the header nodes of the clusters arranged along a first direction axis of the source cluster. The routing method of the present invention reduces the transmission amounts of data request and data packets, thereby conserving the energy and bandwidth, resulting in improvement of network life time.

摘要: Provided are an apparatus and a method for tracking movements of objects to infer a topology of a network of multiple cameras. The apparatus infers the topology of the network formed of the multiple cameras that sequentially obtain images and includes an object extractor, a haunting data generator, and a haunting database (DB), and a topology inferrer. The object extractor extracts at least one from each of the obtained images, for the multiple cameras. The haunting data generator generates appearing cameras and appearing times at which the moving objects appear, and disappearing cameras and disappearing times at which the moving objects disappear, for the multiple cameras. The haunting DB stores the appearing cameras and appearing times and the disappearing cameras and disappearing times of the moving object, for the multiple cameras. The topology inferrer infers the topology of the network using the appearing cameras and appearing times and the disappearing cameras and disappearing times of moving objects. Therefore, the apparatus accurately infers topologies and distances among the multiple cameras in the network of the multiple cameras using the cameras and appearing and disappearing times at which the moving objects appear and disappear. As a result, the apparatus accurately track the moving objects in the network.

摘要: Disclosed is a smart scheduler reflecting change of situation. The smart scheduler reflecting change of situation includes an interface unit and an alarm time decision unit. The interface unit both sends and receives contextual information to/from an external service-providing source. The alarm time decision unit reflects the contextual information that is received and updated from the external service-providing source, so that it may decide a final alarm time for performing a fixed schedule, even if any situation change occurs. The smart scheduler has the advantage that the determined schedule may be performed in the time in which a user designates, by differently setting up the alarm time according to the situation changes, whatever situation change brings about.

摘要: A small broadband monopole antenna including a shorted patch and a probe with a strip line that are electromagnetically coupled with each other. The probe with a strip line has a length of about λ/4, where λ is a wavelength. The strip line may be one of a spiral type, a folded type and a helix type. A resonance frequency of the antenna can be adjusted by varying the inductance and the capacitance of the resonance circuits. In addition, a double-band antenna or a single-band antenna having a broad bandwidth can be designed in accordance with application purpose of the antenna.
