摘要: Systems and methods for monitoring and treating patients with heart failure are discussed. The system may receive patient atrioventricular (AV) conduction characteristic under different heart rates or patient conditions. Stimulation parameters including stimulation timing parameters may be stored in a memory. The system may include a stimulation control circuit configured to determine a parameter update schedule indicating a timing at which to update stimulation parameter using patient AV conduction characteristic, and dynamically update at least a portion of the stored set of stimulation parameters at the determined parameter update schedule. For a specified heart rate or heart rate range, a stimulation parameter may be selected from the set of the stimulation parameters for use during cardiac stimulation.

摘要: Hydrogen getters are provided in active implantable medical device by applying a layer of selected metal with a chosen thickness over an un-oxidized portion of a base metal. The base metal may be titanium, and the selected metal may be palladium or platinum, with a thickness of less than 250 nanometers, where the selected metal acts as a passivation layer relative to oxidation but allows hydrogen capture by the base metal. The getter may be a separate component or may be formed as part of an existing component such as a feedthrough ferrule.

摘要: Improved devices, circuits and methods of operation in implantable stimulus systems. An implantable defibrillator may comprise a charging circuit using a transformer to store and build up energy on an HV capacitor or capacitor stack, with the HV capacitor in turn coupled to an H-bridge output circuit having low and high sides for issuing therapy. A current monitoring circuitry is provided on the low side of the H-Bridge and used to form a feedback loop to control current into a transformer that converts battery voltage to a signal that charges the HV capacitor to control current through the H-bridge.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to implantable medical devices. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method for forming an electrode on an implantable medical device (IMD), comprises forming a nonconductive body comprising a well having a bottom surface and at least one side surface extending from the bottom surface. The method further comprises forming a conduit through the bottom surface and inserting the nonconductive body into an opening in an external surface of the IMD. The method also comprises depositing conductive material into the well and coupling the conductive material to a circuit of the IMD via the conduit through the bottom surface of the well.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed to determine a P wave window for a patient using cardiac acceleration information of the patient, including a determined time of an S4 heart sound. Correlations between an S4 template and cardiac acceleration information in an S4 window having a duration longer than the S4 template can be determined. An S4 centroid can be determined as a peak of the determined multiple correlations, and the P wave window can be determined using the determined S4 centroid and an electromechanics delay.
