Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying one or more P-waves in real-time are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive a plurality of signals from an ECG lead configured to be connected with a patient; determine a noise level of the plurality of signals during a pre-determined time interval; identify a plurality of QRS-complex candidates from the received plurality of signals; extract one or more features from each QRS-complex candidate based on the determined noise level of the plurality of signals; cluster, based on the extracted one or more features from each QRS-complex candidate, the plurality of QRS-complex candidates; and identify one or more P-waves from the clustered plurality of QRS-complex candidates. Based on the identified one or more P-waves, a heart block event can be detected.

Abstract: A method and a wireless cardiac monitoring device to measure and transmit cardiac physiological signals of a subject. The device comprises a patch configured to be in contact with a skin surface of the subject. The patch comprises a plurality of electrodes and at least one wire-free module, embedded in the patch. The wire-free module comprises a patch orientation detection module to detect an orientation of the patch on the subject using a plurality of sensors. The wire-free module also comprises a processing module to select at least two pair of electrodes from the plurality of electrodes based on the detected orientation of the patch and process one or more bio-potential signals corresponding to the at least two pair of electrodes selected, as the physiological signals. The wire-free module further comprises a transmission module to transmit the physiological signals to an external device for further processing.

Abstract: A cardiac medical system, such as an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) system, receives a cardiac electrical signal by and senses cardiac events when the signal crosses an R-wave sensing threshold. The system determines at least one sensed event parameter from the cardiac electrical signal for consecutive cardiac events sensed by the sensing circuit and compares the sensed event parameters to P-wave oversensing criteria. The system detects P-wave oversensing in response to the sensed event parameters meeting the P-wave oversensing criteria; and adjusts at least one of an R-wave sensing control parameter or a therapy delivery control parameter in response to detecting the P-wave oversensing.

Abstract: An implantable medical device system is configured to generate signals representing activity of a heart of a patient; determine, based on the signals, an intrinsic delay of the heart of the patient; determine whether the intrinsic delay is indicative of a first-degree heart block being present in the heart of the patient; determine a patient-specific timing regime for conduction system pacing based on whether the intrinsic delay is indicative of the first-degree heart block being present in the heart of the patient; and administer cardiac pacing to a native conduction system of the heart of the patient based on the timing regime.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to systems and techniques for determining an evidence level of an atrial tachycardia (AT) episode based on heart beat intervals in the cardiac activity data over a pre-determined time period. Based on a determination that the evidence level indicates relatively regular heart beat intervals, the example techniques apply a first set of AT detection criteria and indicate a detection of an AT episode based on satisfaction of at least one of the first set of AT detection criteria. Based on a determination that the evidence level indicates relatively irregular heart beat intervals, the example techniques apply a second set of AT detection criteria and indicate a detection of an AT episode based on based on satisfaction of at least one of the second set of AT detection criteria.
