摘要: Tissue surface tracking of tissue features is disclosed. First surface imaged features are tracked based on the first and second time spaced images at a first wavelength. Second surface imaged features are tracked based on the first and second time spaced tissue surface images at the second wavelength. Tracking metrics are obtained based on the tracking steps. The tracking steps are combined to provide a combined tracking metric. The combined tracking metric is used in a tissue surface navigation application.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and a cooking apparatus for controlling a process for cooking food. The method comprises the steps of: detecting an initial temperature of the food; evaluating weighting factors of more than one temperature ranges according to the initial temperature, the more than one temperature ranges and preset cooking parameters of each of the more than one temperature ranges being predetermined; and controlling the cooking process based on the evaluated weighting factors and the preset cooking parameters. With this configuration, the cooking setting (temperature, time etc) can thus be determined based on the detected temperature ranges as well as the eliminated temperature ranges, so that possible detection inaccuracy can be eliminated to a large extent.

摘要: The invention provides a method of patient monitoring following endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) with a stent graft. It particularly applies to abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. A first 3D volume scan of the stent in situ is provided and a second, subsequent 3D volume scan of the stent is also provided. One or more fiducial markers are generated in a first image derived from the first scan and in a second image derived from the second scan. The fiducial markers identify recognizable features of the stent, such as the bifurcation point in the stent graft. A rigid 3D transform mapping based on the one or more fiducial markers is extracted and then a registration is applied to the first and second scans based on the 3D rigid transform between the first and second images. A size value is derived at the same location in the aneurysm from the first and second scans. The same location is determined with reference to the registered first and second images of the stent. A comparison of the size value from the first and second scans is used to assess a change in size of the aneurysm between the first and second scans. This change in size allows the clinician to evaluate disease progression.

摘要: A system, particularly a photo-plethysmographic system, determines vital sign information of a subject. A marker includes a marker area such as fluorescent or luminescent pigments, that emits light towards a skin of the subject. Light reflected by the skin is encoded with information about blood in the skin. An attachment layer attaches the marker to the subject. A detector, such as an optical camera, detects radiation reflected from the skin of the subject, and an analysis processor determines the vital sign information, such as heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2), of the subject from the detected radiation reflected from the skin of the subject.

摘要: The present invention provides a thermally and electrically conductive apparatus that can provide both thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity for one or more electronic devices connected thereto. The apparatus comprises a thermally conductive element that is in thermal contact with one or more electronic devices and optionally in contact with a heat dissipation system. A portion of the thermally conductive element is surrounded by a multilayer coating system comprising two or more layers. The multilayer coating system includes alternating electrically insulating and electrically conductive layers in order to provide paths for the supply of electric current to the one or more electronic devices. A conductive layer of the multilayer coating system may be selectively patterned to connect to one or more electronic devices. In this manner, the combination of an electronic circuit carrier and a thermally conductive element can unify thermal conductivity with the provision of power and/or communication into a single integrated unit for use with electronic devices.

摘要: An infant warming assembly includes a heater assembly having a heater surface temperature sensor, a skin temperature sensor, and a user interface to input a commanded skin temperature value. The skin temperature sensor and the commanded skin temperature value are used in controlling a temperature component of a control loop. The heater surface temperature sensor is used in controlling a power component of the control loop that powers the heater based at least in part upon the heater surface temperature sensor and a control signal from the temperature component.
