摘要: A patient interface device includes a frame member and a cushion having a main body, a sealing portion, and first and second posts extending from the main body. The frame member defines a first orifice and a second orifice. The first post of the cushion is rotatably received within the first orifice and the second post is rotatably received within the second orifice in a manner that permits the cushion to rotate relative to the frame member.

摘要: An air purification system is provided which includes measurement of a concentration of a target pollutant within the air. A gas sensor is used for sensing a concentration of the pollutant (although it will detect other pollutants as well due to cross-sensitivity). A filter is provided which selectively removes the target pollutant while having a significantly smaller effect in reducing other pollutants to which the sensor is cross-sensitive. A gas sensor response is obtained before filtering, a gas sensor response after filtering, and the sensitivity characteristics of the gas sensor to the pollutant are processed, thereby to determine a gas concentration of the pollutant in the air before filtering. In this way, the concentration measurement is better than a direct measurement with the gas sensor as a result of a low selectivity of the gas sensor.

摘要: The invention relates to an electric shaver (1) comprising a cutter unit (3), an electric motor (4) arranged to drive the cutter unit (3), a load detector (14) arranged to measure at least one electric parameter indicative of a power consumption of the motor (4) to obtain a measured value. An idle load calculator (16) receives one or more of the measured values measured at different instances during an idle period of the shaver. The idle load calculator calculates an idle load value using the one or more measured values, and stores the calculated idle load value in a memory (17). A threshold calculator (18) determines a cleaning threshold value. A comparator (19) generates a cleaning signal if an idle load value for the current shaving session exceeds the cleaning threshold value. An alerter (8) receiving the cleaning signal produces an alert indicating to a user that the cutter unit of the shaver should be cleaned.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing an integrated circuit (10) having a thick film metal layer (14). A layer of metal paste (14) is applied via an application means (24) onto a heat-conducting substrate (12). The metal paste (14) includes metal particles of a predetermined size. An RF generator (16) selectively inductively couples RF energy (18) into the metal paste (14). The predetermined size of the metal particles of the metal paste (14) corresponds to a coupling frequency of the RF energy (18), for heating the metal particles. In this way the metal particles of the metal paste (14) are heated with only a small fraction of the power of conventional processes, and without the need to pre-sinter the metal paste (14).

摘要: The present invention relates to a device and a method for extracting physiological information from remotely detected electromagnetic radiation emitted or reflected by a subject. A data stream derivable from electromagnetic radiation emitted or reflected by a subject is received. The data stream comprises a sequence of signal samples indicative of desired subject motion and of disturbing motion. The signal samples represent at least one region of interest exhibiting an at least partially periodic indicative motion pattern attributable to at least one physiological parameter, and a non-indicative motion region. The sequence of signal samples is processed, comprising deriving a sequence of derivative motion compensated samples at least partially compensated for undesired overall motion; detecting an evaluation parameter representative of motion compensation accuracy; and deriving at least one characteristic signal at least partially indicative of the at least partially periodic indicative motion pattern from the sequence of motion compensated samples, wherein deriving the characteristic signal is performed depending on the detected evaluation parameter.
