Abstract: A use of ganoderma fungal RNA molecules, a drug, a drug composition and a delivery carrier are provided. It has been proved that the tRFs derived from the ganoderma traditional Chinese medicine has an obvious inhibiting effect on airway smooth muscle cell phenotype change (proliferation, abnormal secretion and the like) induced by TGF-β1 and AHR, inflammation and remodeling of asthma mice induced by Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus in the experiments of the present disclosure, which suggests that the tRFs derived from the ganoderma traditional Chinese medicine and a pharmaceutical composition can be a brand new medicine for treating asthma. The drug comprises the RNA molecule and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent and/or excipient. The present disclosure is helpful for the research and development of asthma treatment drugs and provides reference for the research and development of other respiratory system disease treatment drugs.

Abstract: A caffeoylquinic acid-rich extract obtained from Erigeron multiradiatus and a method for producing the same. A caffeoylquinic acid-rich extract includes at least 15% by weight of a mixture of certain caffeoylquinic acids. Abstract: A method constructs an image with improved peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) from a scattered pixel set. Abstract: A method embeds a watermark image into a host image with adaptive rectangular partition and Lower Upper (LU) decomposition such that a watermarked image is generated with improved computational complexity. The method divides a host image into an Red (R) component, a Green (G) component, and a Blue (B) component, and divides each component of the R, G, and B components into a plurality of M×M size blocks, and partitions each of the plurality of M×M size blocks into a plurality of non-overlapping blocks with adaptive rectangular partition. The method selects a plurality of embedding blocks from the plurality of M×M size blocks for each component of the R, G, and B components of the host image to embed watermark information such that the watermarked image is generated.

Abstract: A method of preparing a crystalline zwitterionic zinc(II)-carboxylate compound includes the steps of preparing a mixture of zinc(II) ions and a first pyridyl ligand having three carboxylic acid moieties; subjecting the mixture to conditions under which a precipitate is formed; separating the precipitate; adding a solvent and optionally a second pyridyl ligand to the separated precipitate; subjecting the obtained mixture to conditions under which crystals of the zwitterionic zinc(II)-carboxylate compound are formed; and separating the crystals of the zwitterionic zinc(II)-carboxylate compound. Preferably but not exclusively, the crystalline zwitterionic zinc(II)-carboxylate compound essentially consists of at least one 1D coordination polymer. The compounds are suitable for providing a sensing platform for detecting the presence or amount of target nucleic acid, particularly HIV-1 ds-DNA, with specificity, and, thus, a method of detecting a target nucleic acid sequence in a sample and a kit including the compounds and an oligonucleotide probe are also provided.
