    摘要: The apparatus produces glide and portamento in an electronic musical instrument in which the generated tone is proportional to a current frequency number. A time varying fractional frequency number is established that increases or decreases in value during glide or portamento production. The current frequency number is modified by increments that correspond to the fractional frequency number values, so that the generated tone glides to the nominal pitch, or so that during portamento the generated tone slides from the pitch of the note previously produced to the nominal frequency of the new note.

    摘要: In a computor organ of the type wherein a musical waveshape is synthesized by computing in real time the amplitude contributions of the constituent Fourier components and summing these to obtain each waveshape sample point amplitude, the tonal quality or voice of the produced note is established by a set of harmonic coefficients that specify the relative amplitude of each Fourier component. Herein circuitry is disclosed for modifying the harmonic coefficient values to accomplish transient voice insertion including ''''chiff'''' and percussive transients, to modulate the harmonic content as a function of time during attack and decay, and to facilitate the external insertion of additional voices for the instrument.

    摘要: A reference frequency signal is prepared by a fixed frequency oscillator or by multiplying the IF frequency. A receiving frequency representing signal is obtained as an output of the RF amplifier or that of the local oscillator. The two signals are mixed to produce a beat frequency signal, which is converted by a frequency detector into a d.c. voltage or current, which in turn is applied to a meter. The meter carries a scale marked in frequencies, the pointer indicating the receiving frequency.

    摘要: A waveform memory memorises a particular desired waveform as a sampled values at dotted time points. A ring counter driven by a voltage controlled oscillator reads the waveform memory to produce the memorized waveform signal. Ring counter cycle frequency fx is divided into fx/2n. An input signal frequency fi is divided into fi/2m. These fx/2n and fi/2m are compared with each other by a phase difference detector, whose output is applied back to the voltage controlled oscillator to bring the oscillator frequency to such a value that fx/2n Fi/2m, i.e. fx (n/m) fi. In this way, an output signal of a desired waveform and having a frequency fx which is of a ratio of any rational number n/m to the input signal frequency fi can be obtained.

    摘要: Several bucket brigade devices respectively constituting signal delay paths are supplied with one common sound signal obtained from one electric musical instrument such as an electronic organ or electric guitar or are separately supplied with different sound signals derived from one or more electrical musical instruments. Each of the bucket brigade devices receives the sound source signal, transmits the signal therethrough with a delay which is in accordance with the clock pulse applied thereto from a clock pulse oscillator and gives out a time-delayed signal. The delaying time is determined by the clock pulse frequency of 40 kHz to 120 kHz which is controlled by a plurality first low frequency signals having a frequency of about 0.5 to 3 Hz and a second low frequency signal having a frequency about 5 to 12 times that of the former signal and a voltage level equal to about 1/3 to 1/5 of that of the former signal. The first low frequency signals applied to the respective clock pulse oscillators are different in phase from one another. Sound signals from the bucket brigade devices are conducted through amplifiers to one or more loudspeakers, thereby reproducing musical sounds from the loudspeakers with a unique orchestra or chorus effect.
