摘要: A receiver is provided in the present invention. The receiver includes: a housing having a hollow inner cavity; a diaphragm mechanism disposed in the hollow inner cavity, partitioning the hollow inner cavity into a first cavity and a second cavity, and including a vibration plate; and an electromagnetic driving mechanism disposed in the hollow inner cavity and including a coil assembly and at least one magnetic field generation member. Each magnetic field generation member is disposed in the first cavity or the second cavity, and the magnetic field generation member is close to a free end of the vibration plate. The coil assembly is disposed in the second cavity and includes a coil and a magnetic core. The coil and the vibration plate are placed in the same direction. The magnetic core is inserted in a hollow inner hole of the coil. A first end of the magnetic core extends out of the hollow inner hole of the coil and is fixed in the second cavity, and a second end of the magnetic core extends out of the hollow inner hole of the coil and serves as a support for the vibration plate. A periphery of the diaphragm mechanism is sealingly connected to an inner wall of the housing. Compared with the prior art, the receiver in the present invention reduces connection between movable parts, thereby simplifying the assembly process and reducing the manufacturing cost.

摘要: Aniosotropic Ratchet Conveyor (“ARC”)-based biomolecule processing devices and related methods are described. The ARC-based biomolecule processing devices include (i) a substrate having an ARC track defined on or within the substrate and including a biomolecule receiving area, which is designed to receive biomolecule, and a reconstituting area, which is designed to contain dry reagents and is designed to receive a transport solution such that at the reconstituting area, dry reagents are reconstituted with transport solution; and (ii) a microheater area disposed at or near the biomolecule receiving area, fitted with a microheater, which is designed to heat biomolecule that is received through the biomolecule receiving area and designed to process heated biomolecule and dry reagents reconstituted with transport solution. The ARC track includes an arrangement of a plurality of hydrophilic rungs disposed on a hydrophobic region such that between consecutive hydrophobic rungs, a portion of the hydrophobic region is exposed.

摘要: Systems and methods for tracking vessel activities are described. An exemplar method of tracking vessel activities includes:(i) receiving data, using one or more devices, including vessel positioning data and/or time associated with one or more vessels traversing one or more paths on a body of water; (ii) deducing, using the data received from step (i), vessel attributes of one or more the vessels at certain positions and/or time along one or more of the paths; (iii) identifying, based on the vessel attributes of step (ii), one or more types of vessel activities of one or more of the vessels at the certain positions along one or more of the paths; (iv) parsing an electronic map of the body of water and land surrounding the body of water into discrete geographic zones; (v) grouping one or more types of vessel activities being carried out in each of the discrete geographic zones to arrive at one or more types of grouped vessel activities; (vi) causing to display or displaying one or more types of the grouped vessel activities that are being carried out in at least some of the discrete geographic zones.
