    摘要: The invention provides a dental milling tool for milling dental materials in the making of dental prostheses. The dental milling tool is a ball-nose end mill having three helical flutes, each flute being associated with a cutting edge, each cutting edge having chip breakers along the curved edges of the ball. The dental milling tool may be formed from a hard material such as carbide based material, ceramic, cermet, superhard materials including polycrystalline diamond (PCD) and cubic boron nitride (CBN), and diamond composite. Alternatively, the dental milling tool may be coated with a hard coating such as diamond coating, diamond-like-carbon (DLC), nitride based coating such as titanium aluminium nitride (TiAlN), aluminium titanium nitride, (AlTiN), and titanium nitride (TiN), and ceramic coating.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a surgical instrument, such as a tissue sealing instrument, with an elongate shaft and an end effector. The end effector includes a first jaw and a second jaw that includes a staple cartridge with a plurality of staples for engaging tissue. The instrument further includes a drive member for closing the jaws and engaging the staples, and an actuation mechanism, such as a coil, in contact with the drive member. The actuation mechanism is configured to translate the drive member distally through the first jaw (instead of through the staple cartridge as in conventional surgical stapling instruments). Eliminating the internal channel for the actuation coil from the staple cartridge provides more space in the cartridge for the staples, allowing for the use of taller staples and/or a more compact and maneuverable instrument.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for an endoscope for use in a surgical procedure, e.g., a pediatric trans-nasal endoscopy procedure. The endoscope may include a handle for gripping by a user, and a shaft extending from the handle. The shaft may have a working channel extending longitudinally therethrough and a distal region configured to be inserted into a patient. A fluid control mechanism on the handle may be actuatable by a user to selectively control the flow of at least one of air, suction or water through the working channel. The working channel may include a bifurcation region that splits the working channel into a first channel through which a surgical instrument can be introduced into the working channel, and a second channel configured to selectively convey at least one of air, suction or water into the working channel. A tubing set may be connected to the handle, the tubing set including a second air tube that may be configured to convey air from an air source to a water source so as to pressurize the water source and thereby push water from the water source towards the working channel.

A rod is configured to be received within the bore of each body and the bodies have a configuration forming a spherical assembly wherein the rod extends through the bore of each body forming an axle. Handles connect to the rod on opposing sides of the spherical assembly, and are operable to receive a substantial downward force thereon. The handles prevent axial movement of each body relative to the rod. The spherical assembly is operable to roll on a floor surface with a substantial downward force applied to the handles. The bodies have a disassembled configuration, wherein the rod is removed from the assembly.

When the gas diffusion layer is manufactured using the carbon substrate according to the present disclosure, cell voltage characteristics of the fuel cell may be greatly improved.
