摘要: A document processing system and method for using image quality to sort documents. The document processing system comprises: a document sorting system that designates a destination pocket for each document based on data gathered from each document; a document imaging system that captures an image of each document; and an image quality analysis system that analyzes each image and causes any document having an unacceptable image to be redirected to an unacceptable destination pocket.

摘要: A system and method for querying a stream of XML data in a single pass using standard XQuery expressions. The system comprises: an expression parser that receives a query and generates a parse tree; a SAX events API that receives the stream of XML data and generates a stream of SAX events; an evaluator that receives the parse tree and stream of SAX events and buffers fragments from the stream of SAX events that meet an evaluation criteria; and a tuple constructor that joins fragments to form a set of tuple results that satisfies the query for the stream of XML data.

摘要: Under the present invention, control tags are attached to web content at a content source. The control tags are used to control use of the web content on a portal page. Specifically, a first type of control tag that can be attached to be content under the present invention is an exclusionary tag. Once attached, the exclusionary tag prevents the web content from being used on the portal page. A second type of control tag that can be attached to web content under the present invention is a set of grouping tags. The set of grouping tags can be used to require certain sections of the web content to be used/grouped together on the web page.

摘要: The invention is directed to a positive evidence-of-use feature for portable storage devices. A system in accordance with an embodiment includes: a movable outer sleeve for surrounding a portion of the portable storage device, wherein the movable outer sleeve is configured for movement in one direction only; and a ratcheting system for retracting and permanently locking the movable outer sleeve into a housing of the portable storage device to expose a contact area of the portable storage device, the ratcheting system limiting the movable outer sleeve to a single retraction into the housing of the portable storage device, such that the ratcheting system is configured to be broken upon any attempt to extend the movable outer sleeve after the movable outer sleeve has been retracted and permanently locked into the housing of the portable storage device. Retraction of the movable outer sleeve provides positive evidence-of-use for the portable storage device.

摘要: When a request for a web page is received on a server from a client, the web page is returned to the client with a client program (e.g., an applet) and a program tag. The program tag specifies a session identifier corresponding to the client. Once the web page is loaded, a start method is initiated on the client to cause a (start) message to be sent to the server. The start message causes any running disconnection timers associated with the client to be canceled. When the web page is later terminated on the client, a stop method is initiated and a (stop) message is sent to the server. The stop message causes the server to initiate a disconnection timer for closing the session with the client. If the stop method is not canceled within a predetermined amount of time, the client is disconnected from the server.

摘要: A database table of predefined data transformations is provided. Each predefined data transformation is associated in the table with a unique identifier, a corresponding description and a validity period. When a data modeler wishes to develop a data model for a desired prediction, he/she will first determine a set of variables that will be used therefor. The set of variables can include any of the predefined data transformations from the database table. The data model will then be developed by applying raw data to the set of variables and determining a mathematical relationship there between. Once the data model has been developed, the data modeler will write a reusable specification for applying the data model operationally. Thereafter, IT personnel or the like can code and deploy the data model using the specification.

摘要: The invention relates to the processor for performing convolution interleaving/de-interleaving on data symbols on plural original data symbols and convolution de-interleaving on the convolution interleaved data symbols. The processor for performing convolution interleaving on data symbol comprises a memory, an original address generator, and a storage address generator which generates an original address. The storage address generator generates the storage address of each of the stored plural data symbols in the memory according to the original address and a first predetermined sequence, and each of the convolution interleaved data symbols is stored in the memory according to the storage address; furthermore, all stored data symbols in the memory are configured into a circular structure.

摘要: The invention provides a printing control system for controlling a print-head. The printing control system includes a motor controller, a time-delaying generator coupled to the motor controller, and a timer coupled to the delay time generator. The motor controller is used for calculating the moving speed of the print-head reaching a printing position. The time-delaying generator is used for generating a delay time according to the moving speed. The timer is used for starting to count a printing time after the print-head reaches the printing position. When the printing time equals the delay time, the timer outputs a printing signal to control the print-head to jet out an ink drop.

摘要: An improved system for monitoring an area, and in particular a public area such as a passenger area of a vehicle. Various types of sensing devices and analysis solutions are incorporated and the results combined to enable the monitoring system to operate in an intelligent manner. To this extent, the monitoring system can monitor and confirm the identification of individuals as well as numerous events that may occur within the monitored area. Further, the invention can determine one or more actions to be taken in response to an event, and perform the action(s) automatically without intervention from a user. As a result, the invention provides a solution that can autonomously monitor an area, requiring minimal oversight from a user.

摘要: Methods of forming a high dielectric constant dielectric layer are disclosed including providing a process chamber including a holder for supporting a substrate, introducing a first gas comprising a high dielectric constant (Hi-K) dielectric precursor and an oxygen (O2) oxidant into the process chamber to form a first portion of the high dielectric constant dielectric layer on the substrate, and switching from a flow of the first gas to a flow of a second gas comprising the Hi-K dielectric precursor and an ozone (O3) oxidant to form a second portion of the high dielectric constant dielectric layer on the first portion. In an alternative embodiment, another portion can be formed on the second portion using the oxygen oxidant. The invention increases throughput by at least 20% without reliability or leakage degradation and without the need for additional equipment.
