摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless systems, a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) for random access (RACH) message transmission in dedicated RACH resources during, for example, a handover process. The contention-free random access (CFRA) resources may allow the UE to transmit RACH messages at a higher transmission power than contention-based random access (CBRA) resources. The base station may indicate, to the UE, RACH transmission parameters for CFRA that are different than parameters for CBRA. These parameters may include configuration information, frequency division multiplexing information, RACH retransmission parameters, target received power, response window length, etc. The UE may use the indicated RACH transmission parameters to transmit a RACH message to the base station. The base station may respond with a RACH response message, and the base station and UE may synchronize upon completion of the RACH procedure.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for protecting latency-sensitive communications among multi-link devices (MLDs). An access point (AP) MLD may establish multiple communication links with a non-AP MLD and schedule a restricted target wake time (r-TWT) service period (SP) on one of the links (the “r-TWT link”). In some aspects, when a transmit opportunity (TXOP) acquired on a non-r-TWT link overlaps the r-TWT SP, the TXOP may be extended to support an exchange of latency-sensitive traffic on the non-r-TWT link. In some other aspects, any TXOPs occurring on non-r-TWT links may be terminated prior to the start of the r-TWT SP so that latency-sensitive traffic can be exchanged on the r-TWT link during the SP. An AP MLD also may schedule SPs on multiple communication links. In some aspects, the AP MLD may transfer a TWT agreement between the communication links.

A first wireless device (e.g., station (STA), access point (AP)) may transmit to a second wireless device during a service period, an initiating frame using a transmit beam that is based on a first beam training procedure performed between the devices prior to the service period. The first wireless device may perform a second beam training procedure during the service period based on an absence of a response frame from the second wireless device, based on an indication within the response frame received from the second wireless device, or based on identification of a change in a wireless channel relative to a previous beam training interval or previous service period. The first wireless device may then communicate one or more messages with the second wireless device using one or more beams that are based on the second beam training procedure.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured to estimate a signal-to-noise ratio for each antenna port associated with a reception of one or more tracking reference signals. The UE may receive one or more of multiple single-port tracking reference signals, a single multi-port tracking reference signal, or a tracking reference signal associated with multiple power ratios. The UE may be able to estimate a channel upon receiving a demodulation reference signal. The channel estimation may be based on the reception of one or more of multiple single-port tracking reference signals, the single multi-port tracking reference signal, or the tracking reference signal associated with multiple power ratios. The UE may communicate with the base station based on estimating the channel.

In some implementations, a wireless communication device obtains one or more indications that a wireless station (STA) will enter a power-save mode, selects, for each respective STA of a plurality of STAs, a duration associated with the respective STA entering the power-save mode, and adjusts one or more parameters of a multi-user channel access mechanism for transmitting uplink data associated with the selected duration. In some other implementations, a wireless communication device outputs one or more indications that the device will enter a power-save mode, outputs or obtains data at each of a plurality of first instances, enters the power-save mode at each of a plurality of second instances, and obtains a beacon indicating one or more parameters to be used for a multi-user channel access mechanism for transmitting uplink data.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication that can be used for channel puncturing. A wireless station (STA) may receive an indication of a first puncturing pattern to be used for transmitting or receiving data over a wireless channel, where the first puncturing pattern is defined by a first wireless communication protocol release and the STA is configured to operate according to a second wireless communication protocol release. The STA may select, from a set of puncturing patterns defined by the second wireless communication protocol release, a second puncturing pattern that includes one or more non-punctured subchannels that are subsets of one or more corresponding non-punctured subchannels of the first puncturing pattern. The STA may use the second puncturing pattern to transmit or receive one or more packets over the wireless channel.

摘要: A wireless station (STA) operating as a non-simultaneous transmit-receive (NSTR) soft access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) associated with a primary link and a non-primary link determines that the non-primary link is unavailable, and transmits, on only the primary link, a frame carrying an indication of the unavailability of the non-primary link. The NSTR softAP MLD may set a Do Not Transmit (DNT) bit to a value of 1 and may operate as a single-link device on the primary link based on the unavailability of the non-primary link. In some instances, the NSTR softAP MLD determines that the non-primary link is available while operating as the single-link device on the primary link, resets the DNT bit based on the availability of the non-primary link, and transmits the reset DNT bit in another frame on only the primary link.

In one example, a method includes receiving signaling from a base station to activate a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration for transmission between the base station and the UE, and receiving a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) timing for downlink transmissions based at least in part on the SPS configuration being activated. In another example, the method includes establishing a connection with a base station using a component carrier (CC), the CC having a plurality of bandwidth parts (BWPs), receiving signaling that indicates an SPS configuration or other types of pre-configured resources associated with at least a first BWP of the plurality of BWPs and transmitting or receiving using at least the first BWP according to the SPS configuration or other types of pre-configured resources associated with at least the first BWP.

A user equipment (UE) or a base station may be configured to indicate that a transmission occasion is empty while operating in a full-duplex mode. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to the base station, an indication that an uplink transmission occasion (for example, a configured grant transmission occasion) will not be used by the UE for transmitting an uplink communication. In some other examples, the base station may transmit, to the UE, an indication a downlink transmission occasion (for example, semi-persistent scheduling transmission occasion) will not be used by the base station for transmitting a downlink communication. If uplink or downlink transmission occasions are empty, the UE and the base station may each update parameters to operate in a half-duplex mode.

摘要: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for pre-compensation of downlink communication based on a transmission of a request for the pre-compensation from a user equipment (UE). For example, the UE may determine an impairment at the UE that has a greater severity (a greater impact on downlink communication) or is associated with a greater amount of resources for processing relative to a remainder of a set of impairments that is experienced at the UE and the UE may transmit a request for pre-compensation of the impairment by a base station. The base station may transmit feedback to the UE indicating a confirmation of pre-compensation for the impairment by the base station or to deferment of compensation for the impairment back to the UE. If the base station acknowledges pre-compensation for the impairment, the base station may pre-compensate a downlink transmission to the UE for the impairment.
