A tire/wheel assembly, wherein a run-flat support body comprising an annular shell having an outer peripheral side as a support surface and an inner peripheral side formed in fork-shaped open legs and elastic rings supporting the end parts of the fork-shaped open legs on a rim is inserted into the hollow part of a pneumatic tire, bent parts are formed at the end parts of the annular shell where the annular shell is connected to the elastic rings, the shape of the elastic ring in a cross section orthogonal to the circumferential direction of the elastic ring is formed into a barrel shape having bulged both side faces, the maximum thickness (A) of the elastic ring in a cross section swelling from a tangential line (L1) extending from the apex (P1) of a hump on the rim so as to abut on the axial inner end (P3) of the bent part is 3 to 6 mm, and the maximum thickness (B) thereof swelling from a tangential line (L2) extending from an intersection (P2) between a line segment (L3) parallel with a tire axis through the centroid of a bead core and the inner surface of the tire bead so as to abut on the axial outer end (P4) of the bent part is 1 to 5 mm.

A vacuum cleaner assembly comprising a body, a motor disposed within the body and having an output shaft for rotating about axis, a fan coupled to the output shaft for generating a vacuum airflow through an air intake port in the body, and a separator coupled to the output shaft. The separator includes a cup shaped body and a flange extending radially from the open top to an outer periphery. The separator includes a spider, integrated therewithin, having a hub portion surrounding the shaft, and a plurality of helical blades integral with and extending radially from the hub portion to the vanes and integral with the wall. The separator is one piece molded component that may provide for better turbulence characteristics during suction of the air, increase the centrifugal forces to separate the dust and debris from the air flow.

Optimized delivery of locally applicable Internet content to users. A cache of locally applicable Internet content is maintained in a local content server, based upon a monitoring of locations of users requesting Internet content. Requests for Internet content are received from user equipment through a wireless network base station, and served from the local content server, which is logically proximate to the wireless network base station. The caching of locally applicable Internet content may be maintained on a layered basis. Secure action request receipt and corresponding performance, and item condition alerts are also described.
Abstract:
A display apparatus that can improve power savings in a waiting mode is disclosed. The display apparatus (0) is used as a display component of an electronic device capable of switching between a normal power consumption state and a low power consumption state and includes a panel in which a display area (2) and a peripheral circuit section for driving the display area are integrally formed on an insulating substrate (1). The circuit section switches between an operation mode and a waiting mode responsive to switching between the normal power consumption state and the low power consumption state of a main body of the electronic device. In the waiting mode, a standby control operation stops driving the display area 2 and inactivates the circuit section to suppress power consumption.
