    Abstract: A thermal monitoring system includes thermal monitoring devices that generate sensor data including thermal images depicting monitored elements (e.g. of an electrical switchgear system). The sensor data for all monitoring devices installed at a local deployment is collected by a gateway device, and relevant data from multiple local deployments is further aggregated by a cloud management system for further analysis. New event triggering rules determining how the thermal monitoring devices filter or record the sensor data are generated based on the aggregated data during a continuous learning process. The system detects patterns in the sensor data for the monitoring devices and/or local deployments as a whole and tracks deviations from these patterns, improving the accuracy of the event detection over time.

    Abstract: A safety system for high-voltage electrical cabinetry presents alarm indications representing alarm conditions of the electrical switchgear cabinet system at every electrical switchgear cabinet during maintenance. The system includes encoder and decoder devices connected to existing switchgear cabinet lighting infrastructure. The encoder devices receive alarm signals from a control system of the electrical switchgear cabinet system and send encoded alarm signals to the decoder devices by modulating power relayed from the encoder devices to the decoder devices and possibly to lamps. The decoder devices decode the encoded alarm signals and present the alarm indications audibly and/or visually using light and sound indicators. A technician performing maintenance can evaluate instantly the importance of the alarm based on the alarm indications and act accordingly.

    Abstract: A signaling system includes a universal, programmable, and customizable signaling device. The signaling device includes light indicators, such as a colored light-emitting diode (LED) screen with pixels distributed on an indicating surface of the device facing all directions. A segmented assembly with driver, light, sound, and diagnostic sections allows customization of the device to accommodate different size requirements in different contexts. The signaling device includes both analog and digital inputs for receiving control signals from a monitored system, as well as additional inputs for receiving signaling instructions from a configuration device. Based on the signaling instructions and the control signals, the signaling device presents status information for the monitored system via programmed audible and visual alarms and signaling patterns, including animations. Diagnostic monitors of the signaling device determine a diagnostic status for the device, and a diagnostic indicator presents diagnostic information to ensure that the signaling device is operating normally.
