摘要: The invention relates to a method for wiring electrical components of an electrical switchgear arranged on a mounting plate, comprising:
providing a design of a switchgear comprising at least location information and orientation information about a plurality of electrical components of the switchgear on a mounting plate and wiring information about a plurality of electrical wirings between every two of the electrical components;
optically detecting an actual arrangement of the electrical components on the mounting plate and matching the location information and orientation information to the actual arrangement; and
automatically wiring the electrical components in a wiring order and according to the wiring information and the matched location information and orientation information.-

摘要: The present invention provides a method for installing circuit breakers of different frame sizes into an electrical distribution device at the at the factory or on the jobsite without having to remove the original factory installed line and load busing and installing new line and load busing for the particular frame size of the circuit breaker to be installed. The invention also provides a means for reducing the number of line and load busing assemblies that the electrical distribution device manufacturer must keep in inventory.

摘要: A control module adapted to be attached to a power adapter is described. The control module comprises a plurality of contact elements including a first contact element adapted to receive a line voltage and a second contact element adapted to receive a reference voltage; a first actuator extending from a housing of the control module and adapted to engage with a connector of a power adapter; a second actuator extending from the housing of the control module and adapted to engage with a tamper resistance element of a power adapter; a control circuit adapted to generate a signal; and a third contact element coupled to the control circuit; wherein the control circuit generates to the signal adapted to be routed to the power adapter by way of the third contact element to detect a change in a state of a switch of a power adapter.

摘要: A method for installing a heavy and bulky switching module, in particular a static transfer switch, in an electrical cabinet, by way of an installation kit to make the switching module easily removable and interchangeable, regardless of its size and weight. The electrical cabinet is equipped with the installation kit including at least two support rails, extendable between an extended position outside, and a retracted position inside, the electrical cabinet, and forming two parallel rolling paths. The switching module is equipped with rollers in two parallel rows, arranged to circulate on the rolling paths to enable movement of the switching module relative to the electrical cabinet by pushing and pulling with minimal effort. A raised transport pallet is also used to facilitate handling of the switching module outside of the electrical cabinet by a simple industrial truck, without resorting to a lifting device.

摘要: A substation contains a switchgear or controlgear, in particular at least one low voltage switchgear or controlgear configured for unmanned operation and maintenance. An inner room, where the switchgear or controlgear are located in, is hermetically enclosed by an outer housing. The inner room is locked against the outer housing by an inner, automatically operated door. A robot system is implemented such that the robot system's acting area is extended from the inner room, partly in the area outside the inner room, but inside the outer housing, where spare parts are stored in a spare parts hand over area, for maintenance.

摘要: A sensing and alert system is installed in a plurality of electrical switchgear cabinets. Each switchgear cabinet includes at least one high-voltage circuit breaker, and each switchgear cabinet is in communication with a central programmable logic controller (PLC) configured to activate and deactivate the high-voltage circuit breaker in the corresponding switchgear cabinet. The sensing and alert system includes a time of flight (ToF) sensor arranged to capture real-time image data, a lighting module affixed to an inside portion of the switchgear cabinet, and a processor operatively coupled to the ToF sensor and to the lighting module. The sensing and alert system is affixed to an inside portion of each switchgear cabinet. The processor compares real-time image data from the ToF sensor to the stored calibration image data and transmits an alarm if the difference is greater than a predetermined amount.
