Abstract: A braking control device for vehicles that comprises: a first unit that outputs a supply pressure in accordance with the amount a braking operation member is operated; a second unit that is provided between the first unit and a wheel cylinder, regulates the supply pressure, and outputs a wheel pressure to the wheel cylinder; a communications bus that transfers signals between the first unit and the second unit; an operation amount sensor that is connected to the first unit and detects the operation amount; and a supply pressure sensor that is connected to the second unit and detects the supply pressure. The first unit calculates a target pressure on the basis of the operation amount, obtains the supply pressure from the second unit via the communications bus, and performs feedback control such that the supply pressure matches the target pressure.

When there is an anomaly in the front-wheel steering device, a vehicle control device switches a state of the steering wheel lock mechanism from a deactivated state to an activated state. The control device adjusts the amount of lateral movement of the vehicle by activating the remaining device when rotation of the steering wheel is disabled.

The brake control unit is configured to, when the WC pressure is to be increased by operating the second pressurizing unit, execute an auxiliary brake control in which the first pressurizing unit is operated to assist the second pressurizing unit to increase the WC pressure.
