    摘要: An object detection sensor wherein a detection electrode (electrode connected with a detection circuit via a conductor) is not exposed from a surface and an input signal is scarcely reduced when a contact area is small, which is capable of reliably detecting a contact thereof with an object in a manner substantially the same as that in the case of a large contact area even when the contact area is small is provided. The object detection sensor is provided with a sensor case made from an insulating material, a detection electrode (electrode A) disposed on an inner surface of the sensor case, a touch electrode (touch electrode A) disposed at a position opposed to the detection electrode on an outer surface of the sensor case and capacitance-coupled to the detection electrode, and a detection circuit which is connected to the detection electrode and detects a contact of an object with the touch electrode based on a change in electrostatic capacitance between the detection electrode and the ground to output a detection signal.

    摘要: A detector for detecting an object that may be feared to or about to be caught by a closing door such as a slide door of a vehicle incorporates a capacitance sensor with a directionality characteristic in the direction of its detection surface. The detector has a main body enclosing detection electrodes, an insulating material placed in between and a shield electrode serving to provide the directionality. A protective cover may cover the shield electrode and the detection electrodes. A water-repellant finish may be provided at least on a portion of the outer surface of the main body including the detection surface for preventing water drops from remaining or becoming larger. A plurality of mutually adjacent protrusions may be formed on the protective cover with thickness decreasing in the direction of protrusion for making it difficult for water drops to remain.

    摘要: In an automatically opened and closed mechanism, such a power window, a sunroof or the like, which is opened and closed automatically, a contact sensitive control apparatus according to the invention includes a sealed tube stretched on a frame of an opened and closed portion. A change in the pressure within the tube produced by contact with the frame when the opened and closed portion is closed is sensed by a pressure sensor. When the change in the pressure is detected, the closing of the opened and closed portion is stopped at once. This allows the occurrence of an accident of injury to be prevented in advance which includes portion of a human body being pinned by the window or the like when the opened and closed portion is closed.
