摘要: A fuel gas supply device for supplying fuel gas to a fuel cell stack includes a control valve provided in a fuel gas path connecting a fuel tank and the fuel cell stack, an upstream-side pressure sensor and a downstream-side pressure sensor for detecting an upstream-side pressure and a downstream-side pressure, and a programmable controller. The programmable controller calculates a required opening based on a target fuel gas pressure and the downstream-side pressure and calculates an opening time and a closing time based on the required opening and the upstream-side pressure, or calculates an opening time and a closing time based on the target fuel gas pressure and the downstream-side pressure and calculates a required opening based on the opening time and the upstream-side pressure, and controls the control valve using the calculated required opening, opening time and closing time.

摘要: For use on automobiles, the invention provides a compact device for measuring the concentration of a nitrogen oxide in a combustion gas such as an exhaust gas of an internal combustion gas. The device has an ion pumping cell using an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte to adjust the partial pressure of oxygen in a gas diffusion chamber and a sensor such as an oxygen concentration cell using a solid electrolyte to detect the partial pressure of oxygen in the chamber. The pumping cell or the concentration cell is provided with a catalyst which decomposes the nitrogen oxide in the diffusion chamber only when the partial pressure of coexisting oxygen is sufficiently low. In the device the current supplied to the pumping cell is measured when the partial pressure of oxygen in the diffusion chamber is low enough for the activity of the catalyst and also when the oxygen partial pressure is made too high, and the concentration of the nitrogen oxide in the gas is computed from the two values of the current and the known relationship between the concentration of oxygen in the gas and the current necessary for keeping each of the high and low partial pressures of oxygen. It is convenient to use a pair of combinations of the pumping cell and the concentration cell to keep the high partial pressure of oxygen in one combination and the low partial pressure of oxygen in the other.

摘要: There is disclosed a fuel feeding device for an internal combustion engine equipped with an air regulator for feeding air through a bypass around a throttle valve and a fuel jetting valve for feeding fuel. An air passage outlet of said air regulator is open opposite to and facing said fuel jetting valve. The opening degree of said air regulator is controlled by a coil bimetal functioning in proportion to the temperature of the engine or through a step motor being driven through a controlling circuit detecting operation conditions of the engine.

摘要: A carburetor is provided with a fuel passage which leads to a float chamber and has an air bleed opening therein, and has a nozzle leading from the fuel passage to the intake passage to discharge fuel with air bubbles into it. The nozzle is formed as a multiconduit structure along at least part of its length, in order to improve breaking up of air bubbles in the fuel, and the atomization thereof.

摘要: An NOx concentration measuring apparatus employing first and second wide-range air/fuel ratio sensors for measuring an NOx concentration of gases introduced thereto through a first passage. First and second restricted orifices are provided in the first passage upstream of the first and second sensors. A second passage is connected to the first passage between the first and second orifices. A suction pump is connected to the first passage downstream of the first and second sensors for producing a suction vacuum in the first passage and is also connected to the second passage for producing a suction vacuum in the second passage. The first and second orifices are effective to prevent momentary gas pressure fluctuations from affecting the accuracy of measurement of the first and second sensors.
