    摘要： In liquid mixing and distributing apparatus a unitarily formed tank provides a first compartment for receiving a primary liquid and a second compartment for receiving a secondary liquid. Float means in the first compartment serves to control the introduction and release of primary liquid into the first compartment. The same means also interconnects with a piston which is positioned to be immersible in the secondary liquid. By this interconnection, rise of liquid in the first compartment lowers the piston into the second compartment causing a metered portion of its liquid content to overflow into the first compartment, where admixture of the two liquids occurs. Adjustable blocking means are provided for limiting the degree of immersion of the piston and thus varying the quantity of secondary liquid which is displaced into the first compartment.

    摘要： For delivery of cleansing liquid to printing rollers, a collapsible chamber is incompletely filled with a liquid which is thereafter delivered directly to spray nozzles by compression of the chamber. Reexpansion of the chamber draws in a new charge of liquid and concurrently withdraws residual liquid from the spray orifices to prevent dripping on the cleaned printing rollers. A two chamber system is disclosed in which a new charge of cleaning liquid is received in and metered by a first chamber for subsequent transfer to the second chamber.

    摘要： The combination of an ink agitator and sensor means to provide an apparatus and system for distributing ink in an ink fountain and for continuously monitoring the level of ink within an ink fountain and for automatically supplying additional ink to the ink fountain when the level falls below a predetermined level and for preventing the supply of ink to the fountain when the level of ink is at a predetermined level. The invention includes paddle means adjacent the ink agitator which are contacted by the wave of ink caused by the ink agitator movement thereby monitoring the level of ink within the ink fountain. The apparatus and system has two embodiments. In one embodiment, the supply of ink is immediately adjacent the ink fountain and, if desired, moves back and forth with the ink agitator to insure even distribution of the ink being supplied to the fountain. In the second embodiment, the ink supply is located at a remote location and feeds ink to the ink fountain via a pipe system.
