    摘要: An anchor assembly for anchoring casing or other pipe against axial upward movement while permitting rotation of the casing or other pipe. An inner mandrel member has a central bore and a flange member extending around the outer circumference of the mandrel. A friction reducing ring member is located on an upper surface of the flange member, while layered friction reducing sleeve members are positioned around the outer surface of the mandrel member. An anchor sleeve member is concentrically and rotatably positioned around the outer surface of the outermost friction reducing sleeve member. Connection flanges, each having at least one bore for attachment to a shackle or other connecting device, extend laterally from the outer periphery of the anchor sleeve member and allow for anchoring of the assembly (and any attached casing or other pipe) to a rig or other structural support member.

    摘要: A remotely operated lifting top drive cement head is provided having a high tensile strength, as well as the ability to swivel or rotate about a central vertical axis. The cement head permits selective launching of darts, setting plugs, balls or other objects which can be held in place within the cement head without being damaged or washed away by slurry flow, but which can be beneficially launched into said slurry flow at desired point(s) during the cementing process. The internal components of the cement head can be easily accessed using interrupted thread connections that can be quickly and easy connected and disconnected in the field without requiring specialized equipment. The cement head can be rigged up and remotely operated without requiring the lifting of personnel off the rig floor to actuate the tool or observe tool status.

    摘要: An apparatus for retaining and securing elevated objects such as cement valves. A harness member is wrapped around the outer surface of an elevated object, and adjustable straps are tightened to secure the harness member in place. An elongate sling member, attached the harness member, is securely attached to a cement head assembly or other nearby support structure. The apparatus provides positive retention should an elevated object become detached, thereby preventing the object from falling and injuring personnel or damaging property.
