    摘要: A system is disclosed for a platform that enables the biological owner of health data to manage and control access to their health data. In an embodiment, biological owners can take possession of their own health data. They control the level of access to their own health data by third parties through the use of data blurring to fit within specific data ranges. They also control access to their data through data encryption. In another embodiment, the biological owner of the health data can provide access to their health data to third parties through an auction system. Such access would be provided based on price, time duration of access, or quality of data, as determined by the biological owner of the health data. Additionally, such access could be provided by the system managing the health data access for the biological owner of the health data.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus is connected to a host device including first and second power domains which are separately supplied with power and includes first and second memories to be disposed in the second power domain, a main controller disposed in the first power domain and to perform a control operation using the first memory in a normal mode, and a sub-controller disposed in the second power domain and perform a control operation using the second memory in a power-saving mode, where when the normal mode is changed to the power-saving mode a power supply to the first power domain is shut off, the first memory operates in a self-refresh mode, and the main controller copies central processing unit (CPU) context information into a context storage unit, and when the power-saving mode is changed to the normal mode, the main controller is booted using the CPU context information stored in the context storage unit.

A cathode fluid and an anode fluid with a low Reynolds number flowing along a cathode channel and an anode channel are formed to have an interface with each other through a micro passageway and to be mixed by only diffusion so that the direct mixing of the cathode fluid and the anode fluid is prevented, making it possible to prevent reactants from being depleted at an electrode surface as well as to increase the efficiency of the fuel cell.

    摘要: Saw-shaped protrusions, which are parallel to each other, are formed on the common electrode and the pixel electrode in two substrates. Protrusions in two substrates are arranged alternately and the bent portions of the saw-shaped protrusions are placed on the line transverse passing through the center of a pixel. Branches extend from the convex point of one saw-shaped protrusion toward the apex to the other saw-shaped protrusion, and another branch extend from the point where the protrusion meets the boundary of the pixel electrode toward the point where the boundary of the pixel electrode and the saw-shaped protrusion make an acute angle. A liquid crystal layer between two electrodes are divided to four regions where the directors of the liquid crystal layer have different angles when a voltage is applied to the electrodes, and then, wide viewing angle is obtained. In most regions, protrusions are formed straight and the protrusions have only obtuse angles at the bent points. Therefore, fast response time is shortened, disclination is removed and luminance increases.
