摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced peer-to-peer (P2P) communications. A device may identify an Enabling Parameter signal received from an Access Point (AP). The device may determine if the Enabling Parameter signal surpasses a first threshold. The device may activate a P2P communication with a second device when the Enabling Parameter signal surpasses the first threshold. The device may deactivate the P2P communication if the Enabling Parameter signal descends below a second threshold, wherein the second threshold is a threshold lower than the first threshold or the second threshold is equal to the first threshold minus a delta value.

摘要: Embodiments of a STA configured for proximity detection by multiple WLAN link tracking are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the STA performs WLAN sensing using two or more WLAN links with one or more other STAs to track a channel state of each link and performs motion detection based on the tracked channel state of each WLAN link to detect motion in any of the WLAN links. If motion is detected in at least some of the WLAN links, the STA may perform proximity detection to indicate proximity by combining results of the WLAN sensing for each link to determine whether the motion is proximate to the STA or proximate to one of the other STAs.

A device may determine one or more antenna sector configurations based on TDD beamforming, wherein the one or more antenna sector configurations are associated with first antenna sectors used to communicate with a first station device (STA). The device may initiate a TDD sector switch with the first STA to switch from the one or more first antenna sectors to one or more second antenna sectors. The device may cause to send, to the first STA, an action frame comprising TDD sector setting parameters associated with the TDD sector switch. The device may identify a response frame received from the first STA, wherein the response frame comprises the TDD sector setting parameters. The device may perform the TDD sector switch by switching from the one or more first antenna sectors to the one or more second antenna sectors.

摘要: A system and method are provided for implementing unique multi-band service discovery protocols between communicating devices, including wireless communicating devices supporting operations according to multiple standards and in different frequency bands, particularly in peer-to-peer or ad hoc networking schemes. The disclosed systems and methods define within each service discovery frame, whether a service discovery query or a service discovery response, an indication of the frequency band and/or channel that may support a specific service indicated by the service discovery frame. Cooperating communicating devices between which communications are to be established supporting a specific service protocol are provided with a mechanism by which to identify which common frequency bands and/or channels the communicating devices may communicate in executing the specific service.
