    摘要: Channel bonding techniques for wireless networks are described. In one embodiment, for example, an apparatus may comprise a memory and logic for a wireless communication device, at least a portion of the logic implemented in circuitry coupled to the memory, the logic to generate a channel bonding request frame for transmission to a remote device, the channel bonding request frame to comprise first channel information indicating a plurality of locally-clear wireless channels, the logic to identify, based on second channel information comprised in a received channel bonding response frame, a bonded channel set comprising two or more of the plurality of locally-clear wireless channels, and generate a data frame for transmission to the remote device via a combined bandwidth of the bonded channel set. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

In some embodiments, an information element is included in a transmitted request to indicate a request for network connection information from another wireless device. The device may respond with indications of the requested network connection information. Network connectivity capability determined from the network connection information may be used to decide whether to setup a Wi-Fi Direct link or a Tunneled Direct Link Setup (TDLS), or whether to use an AP infrastructure link with the other device.

    摘要: Certain embodiments herein are directed to determining an allocation of wireless spectrum, which may include one or more frequencies for communicating content, among operator networks that provide wireless (for example, cellular) services to their customers. Information associated with a supply of wireless spectrum and a demand for wireless spectrum may be analyzed to determine an allocation of the wireless spectrum. Various techniques may be used to determine the allocation, such as various types of auctions, mathematical or statistical techniques, and/or heuristic approaches that may consider various factors. Upon determining an allocation of the wireless spectrum, configuration information associated with the wireless spectrum may be determined and sent to one or more devices associated with respective operator networks, where the configuration information may be used to configure the operator network to utilize the allocated wireless spectrum.

    摘要: Certain embodiments herein are directed to enabling service interoperability functionality for wireless fidelity (WiFi) Direct devices connected to a network via a wireless access point. A WiFi Direct device may identify various other WiFi Direct devices on a WiFi network for performing a requested service, such as printing content or displaying content to a screen. In so doing, the device may share information associated with an access point to which the device is connected with the other devices, which may also share information associated with an access point to which they are connected. In this way, WiFi Direct devices may discover their connectivity with respect to other devices to utilize a broader array of connection options for implementing a desired service, and hence, may leverage application programming interface (API) modules directed at providing service interoperability functionality between software applications and services requested by the software applications.
