Abstract:
The present invention reduces the capacity of the AC-DC converter for the peak load and realizes low price and reduction in the volume of the power unit. The apparatus built-in backup power supply has the peak cut function for sharing a part of the load current at the time of peak load from the secondary battery. The two-way DC-DC converter 5 and the secondary battery 4 are installed on the DC output side of the AC-DC converter 3 and a current larger than a predetermined peak cut level is discharged from the secondary battery 4 at the time of peak load. Further, when the load is less than the predetermined cut level, the secondary battery 4 is charged from the AC-DC converter 3 via the two-way DC-DC converter 5. Furthermore, a most suitable peak cut level according to the SOC of the secondary battery and load pattern is automatically set and dynamically changed.
Abstract:
A plurality of semiconductor devices having flanged edges are loaded into a first apertured tray with the leads extending in an outward direction. A second apertured tray is placed over the first tray and both trays are inverted with the transistors supported on the second tray and their leads extending downward into the apertures of the second tray. A third tray having counter-sunk apertures is placed on the second tray and after both are inverted, the transistors with their leads are positioned within the counter-sunk apertures. A blocking slide is then mounted over the third tray which is then inverted and positioned over a fourth tray having insulating pads positioned in counter-sunk apertures. Removal of the blocking slide will allow the leads of the transistor to drop through apertures in the insulating pads.

Abstract:
Upon receipt of an I/O request instructing storage of data in a storage device 106 from a host apparatus, a storage apparatus 100 selects a de-duplication process method to be applied to the received data, based on at least any of influence on processing performance of the storage apparatus 100 to be performed by execution of a first de-duplication process method (inline method) in which the de-duplication process is performed on the data immediately after the receipt of the I/O request, influence on the processing performance of the storage apparatus 100 to be performed by execution of a second de-duplication process method (post-process method) in which the de-duplication process is performed on the data at later timing, and the size of a temporary storage device 106b to be required for the processing of the data by the second de-duplication process method.
Abstract:
A DC power supply device comprises an AC/DC converter 1, a DC/DC converter 2, and a DC converter 3 converting DC power from a battery 4 to DC voltage for connecting to output terminals of the AC/DC converter. The DC power supply device is provided with a controlling circuit 100 which observes a charging control level and a load sharing level, impresses a charging command on a UPS controlling part controlling the DC converter, and simultaneously provides a PFC controlling part controlling the AC/DC converter with a current command when a voltage level is less than the charging control level, stops only the charging command when the voltage level is more than the charging level and less than the load sharing level, and provides the UPS controlling part and the PFC controlling part with current commands when the voltage level is more than the load sharing level. The AC/DC converter and the DC converter supply power in parallel when a load is more than a prescribed value, and the DC converter supplies power as a backup when a trouble is present in an AC power input.
Abstract:
Drive and control apparatus utlizing a pair of gear motors alternating as drive and drag means for the ribbon wherein the drive motor has full voltage applied thereto for driving the ribbon, and the drag motor has reduced voltage applied for maintaining tension on the ribbon. The direction of drive is caused to be reversed by switching bars over which the ribbon travels, the bars being poles of a switch connected to the printer circuitry. The apparatus includes skew means to move the ribbon toward one or the other end of the spools and wherein a skew arm is swingably driven against either an upper or a lower stop by separate drive means caused to be actuated by ribbon sensing means at one end of the ribbon spools.
