摘要: The present invention concerns an inhibitor for use for preventing and/or treating an infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV) and an in vitro screening method for the identification of a candidate compound suitable for preventing and/or treating an infection with hepatitis B virus. Inventors show that the knock-down of histone chaperone HIRA before HBV inoculation led to a strong decrease in HBV cccDNA (covalently closed circular DNA) accumulation and stable rcDNA (relaxed circular DNA) levels, in HepG2-NTCP cell line, indicating either a possible incomplete or delayed rcDNA to cccDNA transition. This effect was independent from HBx protein expression in Primary human hepatocytes (PHH). HIRA is able to interact with cccDNA and its recruitment is concomitant with deposition of histone variant H3.3 in HepG2-NTCP cell line. HIRA was able to interact with HBc (HBV capsid protein) in infected hepatocytes and in an HepaRG cell line expressing HBc in an inducible manner.

摘要: A method and apparatus of a device that classifies a mesothelioma image is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device segments the mesothelioma image into a region of interest that includes information useful for classification, and a background region, by applying a first convolutional neural network. In addition, the device tiles the region of interest into a set of tiles. For each tile, the device extracts a feature vector of that tile by applying a second convolutional neural network, where the features of the feature vectors represent local descriptors of the tile. Furthermore, the device processes the extracted feature vectors of the set of tiles to classify the image.

摘要: This method, for determining the local intensity (I0) of an acoustic field propagating in a target region of a soft solid, at a position located within said target region, includes at least the following steps: determining (102) a value of an ultrasound attenuation coefficient (α) of the soft body in the target region; determining (104) a value of the shear modulus (μ) of the soft body in the target region; determining (106) a value of the speed of sound (c) in the target region of the soft body; and building (110), with the values determined in steps a), b) and c), a viscoelastic model (M) of a steady-state displacement induced by an acoustic field having a time invariant shape or a viscoelastic model of a difference between two steady-state displacements induced by an acoustic field having a time invariant shape. Moreover, this method also includes the following steps: applying (112) to the target region the acoustic field emitted by an ultrasound source, for a duration such that the acoustic field induces a steady-state localized deformation (Formula (I)) of the soft body in the target region; measuring (114) at least one steady state displacement induced by the acoustic field at a given position in the target region; and computing (116) the amplitude of the intensity of the acoustic field at said given position by inverting the viscoelastic model (M) at said given position, for the displacement(s) measured at step f).

摘要: This method for determining a mechanical property of a layered soft material, includes steps of a) generating an ultrasound wave (W1) focused towards a first point (P1) of the material, said wave, upon interacting with a layer of said material, generating in turn a Lamb (L1) wave propagating into said layer of the material, b) measuring, at a second point (P2) of the material belonging to said layer, a physical parameter of the generated Lamb wave, c) automatically determining the mechanical property of the layered soft material, based on the measured physical parameter. Step a) is performed by exciting a first ultrasonic transducer (401) with a first excitation signal (S401) during at most 50 ms, step b) is performed by exciting a second ultrasonic transducer (402) with a second excitation signal (S402) during at most 0.5 ms, to generate multiple excitation ultrasound waves (W2) focused towards said second point (P2) and, then, collecting multiple reflected waves (W2′) emitted in response, said first and second ultrasonic transducers each comprises an oscillator having a quality factor equal to or superior to 100, preferably equal or superior to 1000.
