摘要:
A method for the preparation of an eggshell catalyst is described comprising the steps of i) immersing shaped units of an oxidic support having a smallest unit dimension ≦0.5 mm in a solution of cobalt ammine carbonate, ii) heating the solution to a temperature between 60 and 120° C. to precipitate cobalt compounds onto the surface of the shaped units, iii) separating the resulting supported cobalt compounds from the remaining solution, and iv) drying the supported cobalt compounds. The cobalt compounds may be reduced to provide catalysts suitable for the hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds or the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis of hydrocarbons.
摘要:
A particulate catalyst comprises an intimate mixture of cobalt and aluminium compounds at an atomic ratio in the range 10:1 to 2:1 (Co:Al), which when reduced at 425° C., has a cobalt surface area as measured by hydrogen chemisorption at 150° C. of at least 30 m2/g of catalyst. The catalyst is prepared by sequential precipitation of cobalt with aluminium ions in the presence of an alkaline precipitation agent. The catalyst may be used for the hydrogenation of unsaturated compounds or the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis of hydrocarbons.
摘要:
Catalysts comprising cobalt on a titania support are produced by mixing together particles of a solid titania support and an aqueous solution of cobalt ammine carbonate, and heating to an elevated temperature sufficient to effect decomposition of the cobalt ammine carbonate and precipitation of a cobalt species onto said support. The catalysts are useful in hydrogenation and Fischer-Tropsch reactions.
摘要:
The invention provides a nickel/alumina catalyst, with an atomic ratio of nickel/aluminum between 10 and 2, an active nickel surface area between 70 and 150 m.sup.2 /g nickel and an average pore size, depending on the above atomic ratio, between 4 and 20 nanometers. Preferably the nickel/aluminum atomic ratio is between 10 and 4. Preferably the catalyst has a specific porous structure. The invention also provides a method for preparing the catalyst by a two step process involving precipitating nickel ions and adding during a second, so-called aging step a soluble aluminum compound. The catalyst is useful for hydrogenating unsaturated organic compounds in particular oils.
