The process can include subjecting a synthesized catalyst that includes Pt disposed on a support to an initial calcination that includes exposing the catalyst to a first reducing gas or a first oxidizing gas to produce an initial calcined catalyst. The process can optionally include subjecting the initial calcined. catalyst to a cycle calcination that includes exposing the initial calcined catalyst to a second reducing gas and a second oxidizing gas to produce a cycle calcined catalyst. The process can optionally include subjecting the initial or the cycle calcined catalyst to a final calcination that includes exposing the initial or the cycle calcined catalyst to a third reducing gas or a third oxidizing gas. At least one of the cycle and the final calcination can be carried out. A calcined catalyst can be obtained at the end of the cycle or the final calcination.

摘要: Provided is a methanation catalyst processing method capable of suppressing degradation of a catalyst performance. A methanation catalyst processing method of the present disclosure includes oxidizing nickel through a heat treatment of a methanation catalyst by supplying an oxygen gas containing oxygen to a reactor, the reactor housing the methanation catalyst containing the nickel as a catalyst component. In the oxidizing, the oxygen gas is supplied to the reactor such that the oxygen is supplied to 1 g of the methanation catalyst at a supply rate in a range of from 0.0213 mmol-O2/sec·g-cat. to 0.0638 mmol-O2/sec·g-cat., and a time period of the heat treatment of the methanation catalyst by supplying the oxygen gas to the reactor is set to 30 minutes or more.

摘要: A hydrocarbon synthesis catalyst is for reacting a raw material gas including hydrogen and carbon dioxide to convert to hydrocarbons, wherein when elemental analysis of a surface of the hydrocarbon synthesis catalyst to be brought into contact with the raw material gas is performed by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), 15 to 65% by mass of Fe, 10 to 40% by mass of O, 0.04 to 30% by mass of Na, 0 to 15% by mass of Ni, and 5 to 30% by mass of Cr are detected.

摘要: The disclosure describes a method of depositing a plurality Ft metal containing nanodots on a catalyst carbon support structure by forming a vapor of Pt(PF3)4, exposing a surface of the catalyst support to the vapor of Pt(PF3)4, purging the surface of the catalyst support with a purge gas to remove the vapor of Pt(PF3)4, exposing the surface of the catalyst support to a second reactant in gaseous form, purging the surface of the catalyst support with a purge gas to remove the second reactant, and repeating these steps to form a plurality of the Pt metal containing nanodots.

摘要: A method for manufacturing nanoparticle decorated nanowires by a vacuum deposition system having a deposition chamber and an aggregation chamber connected thereto includes: mounting a metal member in the deposition chamber; performing thermal oxidization of the metal member in the deposition chamber in an oxygen atmosphere so as to grow metal oxide nanowires on a surface of the metal member; without breaking vacuum in the vacuum deposition system, generating a vapor of a catalytic metal particles clusters in the aggregation chamber that is connected to the deposition chamber; and without breaking vacuum in the vacuum deposition system, transporting the generated catalytic metal particles clusters to the deposition chamber so as to decorate the metal oxide nanowires with catalytic metal nanoparticles made of the catalytic metal particles.

摘要: Fluidizable catalysts for the gas phase oxygen-free oxidative cracking of alkanes, such as hexane, to one or more olefins, such as ethylene, propylene, and/or butylene. The catalysts comprise 1-15% by weight per total catalyst weight of one or more vanadium oxides (VOx), such as V2O5. The catalysts are disposed on an alumina support that is modified with cerium to influence catalyst acidity and characteristics of lattice oxygen at the catalyst surface. Various methods of preparing and characterizing the catalyst as well as methods for the gas phase oxygen free oxidative cracking of alkanes, such as hexane, to one or more olefins, such as ethylene, propylene, and/or butylene with improved alkane conversion and olefins product selectivity are also disclosed.
