Abstract:
An insert specifically adapted for use with an off-road tire, such as an off-road tire of a motocross motorcycle, or an off-road bicycle. The insert includes an inflatable tube and a foam element which generally conforms to the contours of the off-road tire to provide support to the tire when the tube is inflated. The ability to deflate the insert facilitates installation of the insert between the wheel rim and off-road tire. When inflated, the insert occupies the space between the wheel rim and tire to support a load during use of the wheel.
Abstract:
A liquid delivery apparatus includes a base assembly; a vessel into which liquid may be introduced to at least partially fill the vessel and to pressurize the liquid in the vessel; a nozzle including a discharge tube and a nozzle outlet, wherein the nozzle is rotatable with respect to the base assembly, and the nozzle outlet is provided at a distal end of the nozzle via which the liquid may be discharged from the vessel under the pressure of the liquid in the vessel; and a valve between the vessel and the nozzle to control passage of liquid from the vessel to the nozzle outlet; wherein the valve and nozzle discharge tube are substantially in line. A drive system is also disclosed that drives rotation of the nozzle with respect to the base assembly. The drive system may be configured to propel the liquid delivery apparatus along the ground.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a medical device for intradermal or subcutaneous treatment of a patient, comprising: a piercing element to penetrate a skin portion of the patient; an illumination arrangement to illuminate the piercing element and/or to illuminate the skin portion prior and/or during a treatment process, wherein the illumination arrangement is further adapted to visually indicate a predefined treatment sequence of the treatment process.
Abstract:
A belt positioner 1 for installing a flexible belt into a grooved periphery 12 of a pulley 11. The positioner 1 comprises a belt guiding ramp 2, a pulley flange engaging mechanism 3, a handle 4 and a belt guiding rim 5. The belt guiding ramp 2 is extendible across the grooved periphery 12 and a belt-bearing slanting surface 20 of the ramp 2 enables the belt to be moved into engagement with the grooved periphery 12 when the pulley 11 is rotated about its rotational axis. The pulley flange engaging mechanism 3 comprises a groove 30 extending across the positioner 1 for receiving a pulley flange 13 bordering the grooved periphery 12 and a shoulder 31 bordering the groove 30 for bearing against a side face 14 of the pulley flange 13, wherein the engaging mechanism 3 locks the positioner 1 to the pulley 11 while the belt bears against the slanting surface 20. The handle 4 extends from the ramp 2 and provides a gripping surface 42 for fingers adjacent the ramp 2. In use the handle 4 extends laterally of the grooved periphery 12 and substantially parallel with the rotational axis of the pulley 11. When installing a belt, the positioner 1 need not engage a shaft of the pulley 11 nor be mounted to the pulley 11 in any additional way.
Abstract:
Denim fabric, suitable for use as apparel, and garments made therefrom, wherein the denim fabric is made from at least about 50 wt % fibers produced from post-consumer recycled polyester and recycled cotton. In particular, warp yarns are made of recycled cotton and the other cotton, and the filling yarns are made of the post-consumer recycled polyester and spandex material. The warp yarn may be plied with like reclaimed warp yarn, and/or with virgin fiber warp yarn. The warp and filling yarns are combined to make the denim fabric. The denim fabric produced has strength and related properties sufficient for consumer use. The fabric or garment may also be subjected to washing, handwork, and/or other finishing effects that would change the look and feel of the fabric or add special characteristics.

Abstract:
One or more superconductive cells are connected in series to provide voltage arising from the Hall effect when cooled to superconductor temperatures and immersed in a magnetic field. The magnetic field causes the Hall-effect voltage to develop across the London penetration depth, normal to the surface of each superconductive cell. Conductors connect the back side of one cell with the front side of the adjacent cell. Each superconductive cell is at least the thickness of one London penetration depth.
Abstract:
A market-based search system uses a digital geometric CAD model as a filter against other digital geometric CAD models that have been used or that may be used to produce actual products and that have real-world cost and other transactional data. Specifically, a digital CAD model is used as an index into market-based data. A geometry based search engine can perform a first pass of comparing indexed parameters derived from the CAD model provided in a search query against index data of an indexed CAD assets database. A transaction search engine can then be used to perform a second pass on the results from the geometric based search in order to match any transactional data, process data, or technical attribute data of the CAD model with real-world transactional data and/or process data associated with CAD models discovered by the indexed data search.
Abstract:
An inspection camera (1) for use in concealed spaces that enables the correct orientation of a camera image to be readily determined. The inspection camera (1) comprises a camera assembly (2) having a camera (22), a handle (3) spaced apart from the camera (22), and a bendable shaft (4) comprising coil-wound tempered steel cable (41) having a longitudinal axis and having a handle-mounting ferrule (42) connected to one end of the cable (41) and a camera assembly-mounting ferrule (43) connected to another end of the cable (4). The handle-mounting ferrule (42) and handle (3) are keyed together and the camera assembly-mounting ferrule (43) and camera assembly (2) are keyed together such that the camera (22) is not rotatable relative to the handle (3) about the longitudinal axis so that an orientation of the camera (22) within a confined space can be determined based on how the handle (3) is oriented.
