    Abstract: A collapsible and height-adjustable plant shade is an apparatus that readily extends and retracts around a plant or multiple plants in order to protect the plant or multiple plants from extreme weather. The apparatus includes a scaffolding and a mesh covering. The scaffolding includes a plurality of length-adjustable legs, a collapsible lateral frame, and a roofing frame. Each of the plurality of length-adjustable legs may vary in height in order to accommodate uneven terrain. The collapsible lateral frame connects the plurality of length-adjustable legs with each other and mounts the roofing frame onto the plurality of length-adjustable legs. The mesh covering encloses the scaffolding and shields the plant or multiple plants. The apparatus further includes a plurality of extension lateral panels in order to account for any distance between the mesh frame and the ground due to varying heights of each of the plurality of length-adjustable legs.

    Abstract: A storage compartment comprises a container defining an access aperture closable by a closure that can be sealed to the container around the aperture and that can be opened by relative movement between the container and the closure in a lateral direction with respect to the aperture, the container having a first sealing loop around the aperture and the closure having a second sealing loop co-operable by alignment with the first sealing loop to maintain a seal when the closure closes the aperture. The sealing loops are moved into and out of mutual alignment by said relative movement between the container and the closure and at least one of the sealing loops includes magnetic means for attracting the other of the sealing loops to maintain a seal when the sealing loops are mutually aligned.

    Abstract: A turbomachine such as a turbocharger comprises a housing 3 defining a bearing cavity and a turbine wheel 4 mounted to a shaft 8 for rotation about an axis.     Abstract: A refrigerated retail unit has a supporting structure, at least one insulating open-topped container that is movable with respect to the structure between a display position in which the interior of the container can be accessed through an access opening, and a full access position in which the interior of the container can be accessed through most or all of its open top.
