    摘要: Apparatus and methods for vaporizing LNG while producing sufficient volume of compressed natural gas at sufficient pressure to meet the needs of internal combustion engines, gas turbines, or other high consumption devices operating on natural gas or on a mixture of diesel and natural gas. The LNG vaporizer of the present invention incorporates a reciprocating pump to provide vaporized LNG to an output at rates and pressures as required by the particular application. The heat rejected into the engine coolant and the exhaust stream from an artificially loaded internal combustion engine, as well as the hydraulic heat resulting from artificially loading the engine, is transferred to the LNG as the LNG passes through a heat exchanger. Exhaust heat is transferred to the engine coolant after the coolant passes through the heat exchanger.

    摘要: A hermetic pressure connector which provides a pressure-tight, electrically conductive connection through a hole in a bulkhead. The connector includes a transverse support member having a high pressure side and an opposite low pressure side. A passage extends through the transverse support member between the opposite sides. A conductor pin having an axial portion extends through the passage. An insulating sleeve surrounds at least the axial portion of the conductor pin, thereby electrically insulating the transverse support member from the conductor pin. A molded connected body surrounds at least a central portion of the conductor pin at least at one of the high and low pressure sides to thereby mechanically support the conductor pin in the passage. The molded connector body is directly sealingly engaged with the conductor pin, the insulating sleeve and the transverse support member. The insulating sleeve may be formed as a two-piece insert that includes a ceramic piece on the high pressure side and a piece formed of polymeric material on the low pressure side.

    摘要: The present invention records a loudness-level-reference segment of audio when creating speech audio files and audio files including background sounds. The speech audio files can then be combined with the background sound containing audio files in any desirable combination. When combining the files, the relative audio level of the files is matched, by matching the loudness-level-reference segments with each other. Any of a variety of known digital signal processing techniques can be used to normalize the component audio files. The combined audio files containing speech and background sounds (e.g. ambient noise) having matching relative audio levels can be used to test and/or train a speech recognition engine or a speech processing system.

    摘要: An anaerobic adhesive formulation is provided comprised of a monomeric acrylic phase consisting of 50 to 100 wt.% of one or more pluriacrylic esters and 50 to 0 wt.% of at least one unsaturated monomer chosen from the acrylic monomers and the non-acrylic unsaturated monomers and a system which produces free radicals and is inhibited in the presence of oxygen. The formulation also contains an additive for improving the impact strength and shear strength, consisting of a polyurethane performed or formed in situ and/or a heat stabilizing additive consisting of at least one epoxide resin associated with a latent hardener of said resin. The formulation is useful in anaerobic bonding.

    摘要: A liquid cryogen vaporizer is devised in which the cryogenic liquid is first partially vaporized in a cryogenic heat exchanger which is provided with heat from nonfired sources. The partially vaporized liquid cryogen is then completely vaporized in a second downstream cryogenic heat exchanger also provided with heat from the nonfired sources. The nonfired sources comprise an internal combustion engine and an ambient air heat exchanger. The internal combustion engine drives a hydraulic circuit which provides a constant load on the engine. A cryogenic pump used to flow the cryogenic liquid through the cryogenic heat exchanger is in turn hydraulically driven from this circuit. Heat is also transferred from the hydraulic circuit into a heat exchanging circuit. The heat exchanging fluid is driven around the heat exchanging circuit by means of a pump driven by the engine through the ambient air heat exchanger, a hydraulic heat exchanger and the first cryogenic heat exchanger. Engine coolant is provided to the second cryogenic heat exchanger. A defrost heat exchanger is also provided with engine coolant and it periodically flushed with heat exchanging fluid to provide a predetermined quantity of heated fluid to defrost said ambient air heat exchanger.
