    摘要: A manual lever drive for an adjusting device on a seat for converting a lifting movement into a discontinuous rotational movement has a support arm and a step-by step mechanism having an output member and an input member. The output member is configured to be coupled with a rotatingly moveable control member of the adjusting device. A transmission member is connected to the input member for torque transmission onto the input member. A manual lever is connected to the support arm so as to pivot about a first axis of rotation. The manual lever is configured to actuate the transmission member. The transmission member is arranged on the input member providing a second axis of rotation. A pivot angle of the manual lever imparts to the transmission member a pivot movement increasing a corresponding pivot angle of the second axis of rotation.

In connecting structural component parts for adjusting devices for seats, the structural component parts to be rigidly connected with one another are welded in their connecting region. In order to prevent distortion of these structural component parts caused by the welding process, one structural component part has at least one bevel which projects toward the connection side and can be pressed into at least one recess of the other structural component part during a capacitor impulse welding process, this recess substantially conforming to the bevel with respect to shape and dimensions.

    摘要: A hinge joint which can be installed, for example, between the body supporting portion and the back rest of the seat in a motor vehicle has a first leaf affixed to the body supporting portion, a second leaf affixed to the back rest and a horizontal pintle which pivotally connects the second leaf to the first leaf. The actuating mechanism for pivoting the second leaf comprises a pair of wedge-like sections which are biased apart to bear against the balls and/or needles of one or more antifriction bearings between the first leaf and the sections. The sections flank a motion transmitting member which is moved about the axis of the pintle in order to release the second leaf for angular movement relative to the first leaf. A centering element can be installed next to the sections between the first leaf and a sleeve of the second leaf, and the bearing or bearings can extend between such centering element and the first leaf.

    摘要: Articulated fitting for seats having an adjustable backrest, in particular motor vehicle seats. The articulated fitting has an articulated part which is stationary with respect to the seat part and a swivelable articulated part associated with the backrest, these articulated parts being connected with one another via a swivel axle. The position of the two articulated parts relative to one another is determined by an adjusting and fixing device constructed as a gear unit. The swivel axle has an eccentric portion which is formed by two wedge segments which embrace a driver of the swivel axle, by a driver arm engaging between the narrow sides of the wedge segments, by an energy accumulator which presses apart the wide sides of the wedge segments and possibly by a centering segment arranged adjacent to the latter. The swivel axle has a central receptacle serving to connect with a transmission rod so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative thereto. In order to achieve a reduction in structural component parts and an angular movability between the swivel axles of the articulated fittings on both sides and the transmission rod so as to compensate for alignment defects, the driver is constructed as a bushing which is connected with the driver arm integrated in the driver and with a cover disk covering the outer side of the articulated region and has a torque-transmitting receptacle for the transmission rod, this receptacle being constructed as a conical bore hole.
