    摘要: Provided is a liquid crystal display including a transparent pixel electrode and a transparent common electrode in a pixel region to drive liquid crystals. The transparent common electrode includes a plurality of slits and is configured to open at least a portion of a switching device to connect unit pixels, the slits have an angle of 5 to 10° with respect to a gate line, and a rubbing direction of a liquid crystal layer is substantially parallel to a gate direction. Therefore, it is possible to provide the liquid crystal display capable of removing factors decreasing an aperture ratio, preventing light from leaking, and further improving internal reflection.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a steering wheel for automobiles and a method of fabricating the same. The steering wheel is formed in multiple layers having a thickness difference of 2˜3 mm by multi-stage injection molding and has a pattern or picture between the layers to provide a luxurious and pleasant appearance. In the method, after being preheated in a dryer to remove moisture, a metal frame is subjected to primary to tertiary injection molding in a mold to form the multiple layers. Here, drying is performed to remove moisture from the surface of injection-molded parts to prevent deterioration in adherence and quality during the process. Here, the pattern or figure is inserted between the layers by pad printing or a combination of pad printing and vacuum deposition. The multi-stage injection molding allows various colors, patterns, and figures to be printed on injection-molded parts excluding the uppermost layer.

    摘要: A semi-transmission type liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal layer between lower and upper substrates, each having a reflection electrode and a lower orientation film. The upper substrate has a color filter and an upper orientation film. Upper and lower phase films are positioned on the upper and lower substrates, respectively, to transform polarized light from linear to circular. Upper and lower polarization plates are provided on the upper and lower phase films, respectively. The liquid crystal layer phase delay dΔ n is 0.24–0.27 μm. The upper phase film has a function of λ/4 phase compensation and an optical axis of 140° to 146°. The upper orientation film has an orientation angle of 40°–50°, and the lower orientation film has an orientation angle of −10° to −20° relative to a horizontal line. The upper polarization plate has a transmission axis angle of 104°–122.5°.

The lower alignment film has an alignment angle of −10 to 20° with respect to a horizontal line, the upper alignment film has an alignment angle of 40 to 55° with respect to a horizontal line, the liquid crystal layer has a phase delay value (dΔn) of 0.24-0.27 μm, the phase compensation film has a phase compensation function of λ/4 and also has an optical axis making 140-146° with a horizontal line, and the polarizer has a absorption axis making 120 to 122.5° with a horizontal line. According to the present invention, the design of a liquid crystal cell can be optimized to provide a liquid crystal display having excellent display characteristics. Furthermore, cell gap can be increased to improve process margin.

    摘要: Disclosed is a vertical alignment mode liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal display comprises a pixel electrode formed on a lower substrate, a counter electrode formed on an upper substrate, and a vertical alignment layer forcing liquid crystal molecules in a liquid crystal layer to be aligned in a vertical direction, wherein the counter electrode is parallelly faced to the pixel electrode while being displaced from the pixel electrode at an interval along a surface of the lower substrate or the upper substrate. Therefore, the liquid crystal display has various properties of a high contrast, a high transmittance resulting from constraint of a disclination, and a fast response speed resulting from identical alignment of the liquid crystal molecules.
