摘要: The present invention relates to disposable absorbent articles are useful for meeting this unmet need of producing disposable absorbent articles that include elastic members comprising elastomeric films manufactured with reduced equipment capital and associated expense. Such articles comprise: a) a liquid permeable topsheet; b) a backsheet; c) an absorbent core disposed between said topsheet and backsheet; and d) an incrementally stretched elastic member disposed adjacent said chassis wherein said member comprises a nonwoven carrier web adhesively bonded to an unapertured, skinless elastomeric layer.

摘要: Disclosed is a disposable absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent layer between the topsheet and the backsheet, wherein the backsheet is comprised of a microporous polymer film printed with multicolored graphics and a nonwoven material laminated to the film, wherein the film has a “b” value between about 0.0 and about 0.5 and exhibits less than about 4.0% thermal shrinkage at about 50° C. and about 50% relative humidity for one week.

摘要: An absorbent material with substantially improved liquid permeability such that it is not subject to gel blocking while maintaining a preferred absorbent capacity is disclosed. The absorbent material is in particulate form and is the reaction product of a water-insoluble, absorbent, hydrogel-forming polymer and a polycationic polymer, the reaction forming a covalent bond between the polymers. After the reaction, the absorbent material has a Saline Flow Conductivity greater than (500-11.5.multidot.GV)(10.sup.-7) cm.sup.3 sec/g where GV is the gel volume of the absorbent material.
