Abstract: The present application discloses a preparation method of SM non-woven fabrics for roof anti-slip, which belongs to the technical field of roofing materials, comprising preparing spunbond non-woven fabric raw materials, preparing spunbond non-woven fabrics, preparing meltblown non-woven fabric raw materials, preparing primary SM non-woven fabrics, and post-processing; the spunbond non-woven fabric raw materials are prepared by uniformly mixing polypropylene with a low melt flow index, polypropylene with a high melt flow index, sodium alginate, antioxidant 1010, zinc stearate, ultraviolet absorber UV-531, polyvinyl alcohol, reinforcing agent, adhesive agent, and nano titanium dioxide. The present application can avoid the problem that the SM non-woven fabrics cannot be fully bonded together and are easy to delaminate when being combined, can also solve the problem of fabric breakage during high-speed production, and can also improve the wear resistance, strength, and stiffness of SM non-woven fabrics. The prepared SM non-woven fabrics have low production costs, are easy to recycle, and have good environmental performances.

Abstract: Provided is a composite fabric having a base fabric and at least one bacterial biopolymer layer. The base fabric is a woven fabric, and includes warp yarns and weft yarns. At least a first plurality of warp yarns and a first plurality of weft yarns form a base layer of the base fabric. A second plurality of warp yarns and/or a second plurality of weft yarns forms an additional layer of loop portions on at least one of the sides of the base fabric. The bacterial biopolymer layer is provided at least on part of the additional layer. Further provided is a process for the production of the composite fabric and a clothing article formed of the composite fabric.

Abstract: An environmentally friendly, formaldehyde-free, aqueous binder composition that includes a carbohydrate, a crosslinking agent, and a pre-reacted product of an alcohol or polyol and monomeric or polymeric polycarboxylic acid or polyglycerol is provided. The pre-reacted product may include glycerol and esters of citric acid such a monoglyceryl citrate, diglyceryl citrate, and triglyceryl citrate as well as other higher molecular weight citric acid-based esters. The inclusion of the pre-reacted product in the binder composition helps to speed the crosslinking reaction, induces faster water evaporation, decreases the viscosity of the binder, helps to reduce the amount of water needed for application of the binder, decreases tackiness, and helps to achieve a maximum vertical expansion of the insulation pack in the transfer zone. The binder composition may be used in the formation of insulation materials and non-woven chopped strand mats.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous odor-absorbing and wrinkle controlling composition, preferably for use on inanimate surfaces, especially fabrics. The composition comprises from about 0.1% to about 20%, by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin and an effective amount of at least one ingredient to improve the performance of the composition selected from the group consisting of: (1) cyclodextrin compatible surfactant; (2) cyclodextrin compatible antimicrobial active; and (3) mixtures thereof. The composition also comprises a wrinkle control agent which is fabric lubricant, shape retention polymer, hydrophilic plasticizer, lithium salt, or mixtures thereof. Hydrophilic perfume improves acceptance. Optionally, the composition can contain low molecular weight polyols; metallic salts to help control odor; a humectant, etc. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric. The composition is preferably applied as small particle size droplets, especially from spray containers. The cyclodextrin/surfactant combination, either alone, or in combination with the other ingredients, provides improved antimicrobial activity.
