摘要: The present invention relates to an improved process for preparing linear alkylbenzenes falling within such range as used in detergency (C.sub.10 -C.sub.14), which process consists of alkylating aromatic hydrocarbons (above all, benzene) with n-olefins in the presence of AlCl.sub.3, wherein said n-olefins are obtained by dehydrogenating n-paraffins.

摘要: A surfactant composition comprising alkylarylsulfonate molecules wherein more than 30 wt. % of the alkylarylsulfonate molecules of the surfactant composition are species of the formula: [R—X—Ar(SO3)−]a[Mn+]b wherein: X is a linear acyclic aliphatic hydrocarbyl chain; R is bound to a non-terminal carbon atom of X and is selected from H and C1 to C3 alkyl groups; X and R together have 10 or less carbon atoms, preferably 9 or 10 carbon atoms, most preferably 10 carbon atoms; Ar is an aromatic group; M is a cation or cation mixture, n is selected from 1, 2 and 3; and a and b are selected such that the alkylarylsulfonate molecule is electroneutral.

摘要: Process for the synthesis of ZMS-5 zeolites essentially consisting of: a. preparing two aqueous solutions of sodium aluminate and silicate; b. putting the two solutions in contact with each other under stirring at room temperature; c. adding a solution of a mineral acid to solution (a) or to solution (b) or to solution (a)+(b), in such a quantity that the molar ratio OH−/H2O ranges from 0.02 to 0.03; d. adding a quantity of water sufficient for maintaining fluid the reacting mixture and the molar ratio OH−/H2O from 0.017 to 0.022; e. pre-heating the final mixture obtained at the end of steps (a)-(d) at a temperature ranging from 20 to 60° C.; and f. heating the mixture, under stirring, at a temperature ranging from 100 to 200° C.

摘要: A method of air-conditioning a space, including: delivering pressurized air into the space from a hollow body connected to a source of pressurized air, elastically flexing an elastic flap of the hollow body under an action of the pressurized air such that a passage section at the flap varies in size as a difference in pressure between the inside of the hollow body and the space being air-conditioned varies, automatically modulating a delivery speed of the pressurized air into the space so as to avoid unpleasant effects on occupants in the space being air-conditioned, reducing pressure losses at the delivery outlet of the hollow body, and reducing energy consumption required to air-condition the space.
