摘要: Example methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to generate a wizard application are disclosed. A disclosed example method includes storing a graphical user interface input by a user for the wizard application in a file, storing a definition of an action input by the user to be performed by the wizard application in the file, and transferring the file and an engine to a user's computer, the file to be used by the engine to execute the wizard application, and the engine to, in response to an input from a user of the engine, convert the graphical user interface to at least one of a command line interface, a webpage interface, or an interface that reads user input from a file.

摘要: A plurality of autonomous control processes, with each controlling one or more components of the material transport (or processing) system, is used to radically simplify the controller software. Each autonomous control process is responsible for the actions of only a subset of the cluster tool components. For example, in one embodiment, a separate autonomous control process is used to control each automated component in the material handling system. However, other embodiments in which a control process controls a plurality of components are also contemplated.

摘要: A composition that can be used for abrasive processing is disclosed. The composition includes an organic bond material, an abrasive material dispersed in the organic bond material, and a plurality of microfibers uniformly dispersed in the organic bond material. The microfibers are individual filaments having an average length of less than about 1000 μm. Abrasive articles made with the composition exhibit improved strength and impact resistance relative to non-reinforced abrasive tools, and improved wheel wear rate and G-ratio relative to conventional reinforced tools. Active fillers that interact with microfibers may be used to further abrasive process benefits.

摘要: A system and method for removing perspective distortion from an image of an object (112) moving along a transport device (114) having a top surface (124) is disclosed. A line scanner (110) to create a first image of an object. The first image is composed of a plurality of scan lines, each having a resolution. Each of the scan lines is then rescaled, so that the resolution of each scan line is equal to the resolution of every other scan line. Each of the scan lines is processed in two halves so that the center lines of the scan lines are co-linear after rescaling. The line scanner is optionally configured to vary its field of view as a function of the distance between the line scanner and the portion of the object being scanned.

摘要: A system and method for determining cross-market correlation factors which contribute to a response to a user request for a price. The system includes a database of plurality of commodities. The system includes a factor determination unit that, responsive to a user request, identifies inter-market and intra-market factors which contribute to a price determination for nearly all of the commodities. The system includes an evaluation unit that, responsive to the user request, evaluates the contribution of each of the inter-market and intra-market factors to identify candidate factors in a model of the commodity for which a price is requested. The system further includes a price response unit that responds to the request with a price for the asset, good or service based on the model. The system and method predict the price based on factors across multiple markets.
