摘要： A method for preparing a stimulable phosphor is disclosed, comprising forming a stimulable phosphor and coating the formed stimulable phosphor with a metal oxide and a silane coupling agent, or a metal oxide and a metal alkoxide. Another method is also disclosed, comprising forming a stimulable phosphor precursor, calcining the formed precursor in the presence of a metal oxide or metal alkoxide, and coating the calcined precursor with a silane coupling agent or metal alkoxide. Further disclosed is a preparation method of a radiation image conversion panel containing the stimulable phosphor.

摘要： A stimulable phosphor is disclosed, comprising a rare earth activated alkaline earth metal fluorohalide stimulable phosphor, wherein the rare earth of the phosphor is a rare earth metal selected from the group consisting of Eu, Ce and Gd and the content of the rare earth metal in the surface portion of the particles of the stimulable phosphor being less that in a central portion of said particles. Disclosed is also a radiation image conversion panel comprising a support having thereon a phosphor layer containing the stimulable phosphor.

摘要： A method for chemically sensitizing a silver halide photographic emulsion with a selenium compound is disclosed. The sensitizing method comprises the steps of preparing a dispersion of solid particles of a selenium compound in an aqueous medium by a process comprising the following steps of (1) dissolving a substantially water-insoluble organic selenium compound in a substantially water immiscible low-boiling organic solvent to prepare a selenium compound solution, (2) dispersing the selenium compound solution in water or an aqueous solution of a dispersing aid to form a oil-in-water type dispersion, and (3) removing the organic solvent from the oil-in-water type dispersion by stirring the dispersion under a decompressed condition to precipitate the selenium compound so as to form a dispersion of fine solid particles of the selenium compound having an average particle size of 10 nm to 3 .mu.m;adding the solid dispersion particles of the selenium compound to a silver halide emulsion, and ripening the silver halide emulsion in the presence of the solid dispersion particles of the selenium compound.

摘要： An image capture lens is equipped with: a diaphragm which is formed on a substrate, adjusts a light quantity, and has a predetermined aperture; an inorganic or organic adhesion layer formed on the substrate such that the diaphragm is exposed; and a resin part which has a lens part made from a curable resin. The resin part is directly joined to the inorganic or organic adhesion layer and diaphragm. The surface of the substrate on which the diaphragm is formed is subjected to a modification treatment so that a water contact angle is within a range of 3° to 30°.

摘要： A method for manufacturing an ultrafine gold and/or silver chalcogenide being used for the sensitivity speck seeding sensitization method is disclosed. The gold and/or silver compound, and a water-soluble chalcogenide are mixed into a protective colloid solution under prescribed condition. 摘要： A method for preparing a rare earth activated alkaline earth metal fluorohalide stimulable phosphor represented by formula (Ba1−xM2x)FBryI1−y:aM1, bLn, cO is discloded, comprising the steps of (a) preparing an aqueous mother liquor containing BaX2 of not less than 2.0 mol/l and a halide of Ln, (b) adding an aqueous solution containing an inorganic fluoride of not less than 5 mol/l to the mother liquor while maintaining a temperature of at least 50° C. to form a crystalline precipitate of a precursor of the stimulable phosphor, (c) separating the precipitate of the precursor from the mother liquor, and (d) calcining the separated precipitate.
