Abstract:
The invention relates to a power supply unit for data viewing devices, which, from a main alternating voltage produces at least one d.c. voltage for the operation of the data viewing device, where the power supply unit is in the form of a switching power supply unit and contains an oscillator which produces signals which determine the switching frequency of the switching power supply unit and where the data viewing device contains a pulse generator which, in order to produce an image on a screen, produces timing pulses of a given repetition frequency and a given duration.More particularly, the control stage for a switching power supply unit of a data viewing device having a display screen includes a free-running oscillator whose frequency is synchronized by timing pulses from a pulse generator. These pulses are of a predetermined repetition frequency and a given duration. The oscillator is preferably an astable multivibrator. The output signal of the oscillator is pulse modulated and fed to the base of a switching transistor in the power supply circuit. A separator stage such as an optical coupling element or transformer, is provided in the circuit between the pulse generator and the oscillator. The oscillator may contain an amplifier provided with a positive feedback and a negative feedback and which oscillator has its control input connected to the non-inverting input of the amplifier. The non-inverting input of the amplifier preferably includes a capacitor.
Abstract:
In various embodiments, a halogen incandescent lamp is provided. The halogen incandescent lamp may include a bulb, in which a light-emitting element is fixed by means of a frame, the bulb defining an axis, the frame having a frame wire and a separate part for holding the light-emitting element, wherein the separate part is a clip which is fastened on the frame wire, the clip having a functional limb, with the end of said functional limb being threaded or plugged into a coiled end of the light-emitting element.
Abstract:
A halogen incandescent lamp for operation at mains voltage is provided. The halogen incandescent lamp may include a unilaterally pinched bulb in which is accommodated a filament and a halogen-containing filling as well as an inert gas, wherein at least one bulb section disposed in the vicinity of the pinch is oval shaped, said filling containing xenon as the inert gas.
Abstract:
A method for printing identity cards having blind hole-shaped recesses involves filling the recess at least partly with an element at the moment of printing so that the bottom of the recess is pressed against the printing surface. The elements are either firmly mounted on the back pressure surface of the apparatus or movably mounted in this surface. In the second case the elements can disappear into the back pressure surface if necessary.
Abstract:
A phase locked loop system for tuning the reception frequency of a receiver for digitally modulated received signals and analog-modulated received signals has at least one voltage controlled oscillator for producing an oscillator signal for a reception frequency tuning. A first frequency divider is provided for dividing the frequency of the oscillator signal to a nominal comparison frequency as a function of a receiving channel selection signal. A second frequency divider is provided for dividing a reference frequency as a function of a reception mode switching signal. A phase comparison circuit is provided for comparing the signals supplied by the frequency dividers in order to produce a tuning voltage for the voltage controlled oscillator wherein the gain of the phase comparison circuit is adjustable in order to optimize the phase noise.
Abstract:
A transfer line with devices for conveying work pieces along the central bases, lateral bases set up along the sides of the central bases on which the processing units are mounted so as to be capable of displacement, and supply devices for the processing stations. In order to improve access to the transfer line and simplify component units, the following features are proposed: a) the supply devices along the direction of travel of the work pieces are arranged exclusively within or in the region of and/or above the central bases; b) the supply devices are connected to each processing station via short detachable connecting pieces; c) shut-off devices are provided at least in the main lines for hydraulics, lubrication, pneumatics etc.; and d) at least one control block with valves is provided between the shut-off devices and the processing station. Alternatively, it is proposed that a control panel with a control block should be provided in the immediate vicinity of the work piece conveyor line and should be connected via valve tubes to a distributor block and/or directly to the main lines for hydraulics, lubricants, pneumatics or the like and to the consumer units of the processing station.
