Abstract:
A nest box (1) for bumblebees that provides sufficient ventilation inside the nest box (1). The provided nest box (1) with a bumblebees hive (2) inside resolves the problems of insufficient ventilation, by being mounted with a ventilation panel (14), comprising ventilation holes (13) in size(s) that enable ventilation but at the same time bumblebees from passing through.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a receiving module, a moving image generation module, a clock module which measures a date, and a transmission module. The receiving module receives date information, which indicates a particular date of a user of a user terminal and includes a first image related to the user of the user terminal, from the user terminal via a network. The moving image generation module extracts a first still image group related to the first image in the date information from a plurality of still images, and generates a first moving image using the extracted first still image group. The transmission module transmits the first moving image to the user terminal via the network when a date indicated by the clock module reaches a date corresponding to the particular date of the user of the user terminal.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, an information processor includes: a display module; and a display changing module. The display module is configured to two-dimensionally display or three-dimensionally display each of a plurality of regions set on a screen. The display changing module is configured to change, if a three-dimensionally displayed first display region and a two-dimensionally displayed second display region overlaps each other and a state of the first display region satisfies a predetermined condition, the first display region to be displayed two-dimensionally.
Abstract:
Several embodiments of improved thermocouples that can be formed without necessitating welding of small diameter wires. In each embodiment, the thermocouple is formed by depositing strips of dissimilar materials on an insulating base with the ends of the strips in contacting relationship to form a junction.

Abstract:
An electronic equipment includes: a storage unit that stores a plurality of facial images extracted from video data and time stamp information indicating time points when the plurality of facial images appear in the video data; and a processor that operates, based on the time stamp information, to: arrange a plurality of facial image display areas in a two-dimensional display area in a grid layout having a given number of rows and a plurality of columns, each of the columns being assigned with respective time zones divided from a total time length of the video data; and display the facial images, which belong to each of the time zones assigned to the columns, in the facial image display areas included in the respective columns.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, a storage device stores a plurality of reference face images and a plurality of human names corresponding to the reference face images respectively. A face image extraction module extracts a plurality of face images from the moving image data to be processed. A matching processing module compares each of the extracted face images with the plurality of reference face images, and specifies a reference face image that appears within the moving image data to be processed. An association module associates human names corresponding to the specified reference face images, with the moving image data to be processed. A search module searches moving image data associated with the human names input by a user, from a plurality of moving image data to be searched.

Abstract:
An injection method for making a hole in an injection molded plastic article comprising the steps of filling a mold cavity with a molten plastic and cooling the mold to effect gate seal. A first hole-making punch and a second punch, which are slidably inserted in a bore provided in the mold coinciding with the hole to be made in the article in an axial direction in which a movable mold half is opened and closed, are vibrated with high frequency after gate seal is completed to soften the solidified plastic between the two punches. The punches are then displaced with respect to the bore when the plastic is softened to make the hole. A second injection method comprises the step of making the hole in the molded article by sliding the punches during both dwelling and cooling subsequent to the completion of dwelling after filling the mold with the molten plastic and before gate seal is effected. While said punches are subject to vibration with high frequency or slow reciprocating motion, the side surfaces of the punches are contacted against the hole inner surface to obtain a good cut surface of the hole in the molded article.
Abstract:
A method for degating an injection molded article comprising the steps of filling a mold cavity with a molten resin and cooling the mold to effect gate seal. A gate cut shaft member is oscillated after gate seal is completed to soften the hardened resin in the gate. The gate cut shaft member is then displaced with respect to the mold cavity when the resin is softened to effect degating. A second method comprises the steps of cutting the gate in the molded article by sliding the gate cut shaft member during the dwell process with respect to the mold cavity after filling the mold with molten resin and before gate seal is effected. While said gate cut shaft member is subject to minute oscillation or a slow reciprocating motion, the shaft surface is abutted against the degated surface to obtain a good cut surface on the molded article.
