摘要: A reinforcing cord of the present invention is a reinforcing cord (10) for rubber reinforcement including a fiber core (11) and a plurality of strands (12) disposed around the fiber core (11). The fiber core (11) is formed of one or a plurality of highly elastic fibers having a tensile elastic modulus of at least 100 GPa. Each of the plurality of strands (12) is formed of a plurality of glass fibers that are primarily twisted, and the plurality of strands (12) are finally twisted to be disposed around the fiber core (11). The direction of the final twist of the plurality of strands is opposite to the direction of the primary twist in each of the plurality of strands (12). The number of final twists of the plurality of strands (12) is 1.0 to 3.0 times/25 mm, and a ratio of the number of primary twists in each of the plurality of strands (12) to the number of final twists of the plurality of strands (12) (the number of primary twists/the number of final twists) is in a range of 1.5 to 2.5.

摘要: An image recording apparatus which records position information of a place of shooting an image of an object and direction information of the object relative to the recording apparatus. A shooting unit takes images of an object. A receiver receives data for position measurement being transmitted from a satellite and a position information calculator calculates position information using the satellite data. A sensing unit senses a direction of a terrestrial magnetic field and a direction information calculator calculates direction information based on the sensed direction. A transmitting unit transmits the position and direction information to the recording unit which records the position and direction information on a recording medium together with image data corresponding to the taken images. The position and direction information may then be displayed together with the images when the images are reproduced.

摘要: According to the present invention, a coat is formed by applying a coating composition comprising an epoxy resin obtained by a bisphenol represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms and a curing agent, to a substrate; and thereafter contactings the resulting coat with a liquid such as warm water or hot water in a one stage or multistage process. The thus formed coat is excellent in properties such as heat resistance, particularly erosion resistance adhesive properties and resistance to leaching of organic constituents contained in the coat exposed to hot water.
