    摘要: The image reading apparatus is of the multi-chip line sensor having a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements connected through corresponding switching elements commonly to every one another. Each group of the commonly connected photoelectric conversion elements outputs on a common line an image signal which is then fed to a sample hold circuit and is thereafter outputted from a single output terminal. By such construction, the image signal from the photoelectric conversion elements is sequentially outputted externally from the single output terminal in the form of output waveshape as held in the sample hold circuit in such manner as to prolong output duration of each bit image signal to thereby enable fast operation of the line sensor.

    摘要: An implantable secondary battery pack having a battery management system and secondary battery is disclosed. The battery management system is capable of charging the rechargeable battery using low incoming voltage. When the rechargeable battery is charging, the battery management circuit output voltage is almost the same as that of the rechargeable battery. The battery management circuit has battery monitor functions and prevents the rechargeable battery from over-charging or over-discharging by using only one large switch. This invention can be used to remotely recharge implantable medical devices such as a pacemaker, neurostimulator, defibrillator, and cochlear implant.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an improvement in the safety and a reduction in a current consumption in a battery device which is capable of calculating the remaining amount of a lithium ion secondary battery. If the charging and discharging current becomes equal to or lower than a given value, circuits including a current monitoring circuit operate so as to reduce the current consumption. In this situation, the current monitoring circuit stops to function. A control circuit is connected with a differentiating circuit, and if a voltage between both ends of the sense resistor changes, a charging and discharging current monitoring circuit is again operated. With the above solving means, the current consumption can be suppressed, and a precision in the current monitor can be enhanced.

    摘要: A chargeable power supply which has a charge/discharge control circuit is provided in which the service life of a secondary cell is prolonged. A voltage dividing circuit, an overcharge voltage detection circuit, an overdischarge detection circuit and a control circuit are connected in parallel to the secondary cell. The control circuit receives signals indicating the condition of the secondary cell from the overcharge/overdischarge voltage detection circuits and outputs a signal for controlling a switch circuit for disconnecting the secondary cell from external equipment, or to stop a charging operation by an external power source. The control circuit also controls a switching element provided in series with the voltage dividing circuit and reduces a current which flows through the dividing circuit. A current limiting means is provided to limit the current consumption of the charge/discharge control circuit. In one embodiment, a the current limiting device is a switching element provided in series with the voltage dividing circuit. In another embodiment, the current limiting device is an error amplifier with a latching function provided in an overcharge detecting circuit.
