    摘要: Disclosed is an inorganic electroluminescent device. The inorganic electroluminescent device comprises a hole transport layer, a light-emitting layer, an inorganic electron transport layer and an electron injecting electrode sequentially formed on a hole injecting electrode wherein an insulating layer is formed between the electron injecting electrode and the inorganic electron transport layer.Further disclosed are a method for fabricating the electroluminescent device and an electronic device comprising the electroluminescent device.The inorganic electroluminescent device achieves uniform light emission from the entire light-emitting surface of the device, resulting in an improvement in the reliability and stability of the device. The inorganic electroluminescent device is suitable for use in the manufacture of electronic devices, including display devices, illuminators and backlight units.

The polarizing LGP unit includes: an LGP which guides light emitted by a light source; a collimator that is disposed above the LGP and including a plurality of reflective patterns, each pattern having an inclined surface that reflects light exiting the LGP in an upward direction; and a polarization separating layer, disposed between the plurality of reflective patterns and the LGP, which transmits light of a first polarization and reflects light of a second polarization orthogonal to the first polarization.

    摘要: An optical bench is provided, as are a thin optical pickup that employs the optical bench, and a method of manufacturing the optical bench. The optical bench includes a light source for generating light for recording and reproducing information to and from an optical disc, a light source stand on which the light source is mounted, a mirror adjacent to the light source stand, and a bottom surface at a lower point than the light source stand and between the light source stand and the mirror surface. Sides of the light source stand besides the side facing the mirror are connected to the surface of the substrate by a flat sloped surface. Along the sloped surface, two electrodes for supplying power to the light source are connected to the light source stand. Since the metal wirings are formed along the sloped surface without trenches or windings between the light source stand and the silicon substrate, no disconnection of metal lines at a corner occurs.

    摘要: An optical bench is provided, as are a thin optical pickup that employs the optical bench, and a method of manufacturing the optical bench. The optical bench includes a light source for generating light for recording and reproducing information to and from an optical disc, a light source stand on which the light source is mounted, a mirror adjacent to the light source stand, and a bottom surface at a lower point than the light source stand and between the light source stand and the mirror surface.     摘要: A light-emitting device and a light-emitting apparatus using the same. The light-emitting device includes an n-type or p-type substrate, a doped region formed on a first surface of the substrate with a predetermined dopant to be an opposite type from that of the substrate, to an ultra-shallow depth such that light is emitted from a p-n junction between the doped region and the substrate by a quantum confinement effect, a resonator which improves the selectivity of wavelength of the light emitted from the p-n junction, and first and second electrodes formed on the first surface and a second surface of the substrate, respectively, for injection of holes and electrons. The light-emitting device includes the ultra-shallow doped region so that it can emit light with a quantum confinement effect in the p-n junction. A resonator structure to resonate only a particular wavelength range of light is added to the light-emitting device so that the selectivity of light wavelength is markedly improved with excellent efficiency. The intensity of light emission is amplified by the resonator structure, and the directional property of the emitted light can be improved further than that of conventional light-emitting devices.

    摘要: Disclosed are an optical film having a graded refractive index and a method of manufacturing the same. The optical film includes one or more antireflection films composed of a mesoporous material having a plurality of pores of a uniform size, and the pores of the mesoporous material are filled with air or a filler having a refractive index different from that of the mesoporous material, and thus the volume ratio of mesoporous material to filler in the pores thereof is controlled, thereby obtaining a desired magnitude of effective refractive index and ensuring a refractive index distribution in which the refractive indexes sequentially change, resulting in high antireflection performance. The method of manufacturing the optical film may be conducted using a nanowire growing technique, thus making it easy to realize mass production.
