    摘要: A writing instrument with a cap that lockingly engages a body portion via a locking assembly is presented herein. The locking assembly includes a pair of locking tabs on the cap that correspondingly fit within locking channels on the body of the writing instrument. With the tabs positioned within the locking channels, the cap is twisted or rotated such that the locking tabs slide past a node within the channels and restricts removal of the cap from the body portion.

    摘要: A method for dynamically controlling the output of a computerized manufacturing process includes storing a product target parameter in a computer memory of a computer system associated with the manufacturing process equipment. Control limit values for a product delivery statistic are provided and a product delivery parameter is continually monitored and values are stored in the computer memory. A unit product over-delivery amount is determined from the difference between the product delivery parameter and the product target parameter. A cumulative over-delivery amount is determined by summing the difference up to the current sequence number between monitored value for the previously-produced unit products and the product target parameter. A net difference is then determined between the unit product over-delivery target parameter and the cumulative over-delivery amount. A predetermined modifier is provided and the net difference is adjusted by the predetermined modifier to obtain a control limit adjustment, and the control limits are adjusted by the control limit adjustment.

    摘要: Liquid hydrocarbon storage tanks are cleaned by transferring the most contaminated lower fuel layer to an external vessel on a treatment truck where separation into a contaminants portion and a fuel portion occurs. The remnant fuel in the storage tank is cleaned by multiple passes through an external circuit on the truck. The fuel from the vessel is sometimes returned to the remnant fuel to be cleaned. The contaminants are discarded. The initial separation shortens the cleaning cycle. A flexible dip tube stiffened by a guide rod allows probing of the storage tank floor.

The nut has front and rear surfaces and a first lock structure that is disposed between the front and rear surfaces. The clip has a body, which defines an aperture, a second lock structure and an engagement member. The second lock structure is coupled to the body and engages the first lock structure to axially retain the clip to the nut. The engagement member extends into the aperture in the body.     摘要: A mixer tap assembly is shown which has a mixing chamber for mixing fluids from two inputs, and a mix controller to control the ratio of fluid flow into the mixing chamber from the inputs. The mix controller includes a mix actuator which operates a mix control apparatus, such as a rotatable sleeve, which is connected to a mix valve apparatus associated with the mixing chamber. The mix actuator and a fluid outlet are mountable on or above a work surface via a mounting apparatus, while the mixing chamber is mountable below the work surface. Furthermore, the mix control apparatus and an output conduit, between the fluid outlet and the mixing chamber, pass through a bore in the mounting means, so minimizing the footprint of the mixer tap assembly on the work surface.
